Do you all get that Developers that make the game actually got a salary like 200-300k a year... Our guys don't make enough to pay for the server costs. The thing that they can make to bring more people to the server is to put it on Steam Green Light. and make the donation store more useful. Nothing wrong with getting to Lvl 100 fast. agree with matty to make Rested options in donation store but they must be more useful. I got 1% rested from large potion... its funny...

"OPENTHEDOOR"Why you all hammering him for piloting. A lot in your own guild and people like myself have done the same. Heck you have a full time pilot with 2 chars in your guild who has benefited from it. Stones and glass houses.

My point, its not a big deal. Get over it.

There is no issue with someone piloting. Buying items is against the rules but we all know it goes on...

I couldnt careless that Matty does both. He can spend his money on what he likes. As many here have done.

Its how he acts all high and mighty about it. When his mushroom tip is balls deep.

"MATTY"The thing with soma PVP the items you wud drop might take you a year to remake not 5 mins...I personally thing item drop should be taken out of soma pvp and changed to just high amount barr drops even linked with your barr in stash. I dont think its fair to lose an item it may of taken you 3 years to get

Skimmed through as I didn't like any of the ideas.

But this part made me laugh.

Well I like soma as it is old saying if its not broke don't fix it. People come back to play this old game time after time,we all love the nostalgia and that's why 16 years? down the line soma is still alive.
Thanks Dan and Finito

Exactly what Linny said and to add Alot of us are making our way slowly up the levels and enjoying it while playing within the spirit of the game. Alot of the good people are still here. So let's try to forget the negative voices.

Agree with the last few posts.

It's ment to be a game, abit of fun...
Seems 90% of people here take Soma way too seriously and tend to get personal about things.
Been coming and going since the start, nowhere near cap and still very much enjoy logging on here to chill and kill afew hours.
Appreciate the effort GMS.

Absolutely

I played since October 2013, and have come and gone since then, finally im getting near cap (level 91).

When i remember e-soma and compare it to the blade of heaven, it's clear to me which server is superior. I cant describe how much soma has helped me over the last few years, with the irl difficulties ive faced. This is SOMA. Not "bits and bobs from the other games i like".

If this games bored you, move on - no whining, no moaning.no mewling.

Just say thanks for your fun and leave. Theres so many decent people left, this server still have a good uc. You can tell that by the number of people at boss-spawn events.

This server has many fun years left!

As someone who played esoma and came back to the game nearly a month ago, I have to say great effort from the Gms.
The changes that have been made are very user friendly, I remember doing 22 Con in esoma and that taking me a couple of weeks alone, let alone 2 afternoons (thanks to bugs). Levelling in general seems to be quicker to than I remember and crafting has been streamlined and made a lot friendlier.

I agree with what someone else mentioned earlier, why not have a monthly subscription fee? Even if it was £2-3, it's only the cost of a pint or cheaper than a pack of 10 cigs nowadays. I may be wrong but didn't esoma have some sort of fee?
