New spells for mages and a 4th and 5th aura for staffs

Why risk upgrading if its pointless?

+8-10stats on an item isnt exactly and easy feat and it should feel "op" if achieved.

Never said it make it pointless or impossible.. jus nerf the success rate or make it related to accessory craft skill.. also if things like winbands/fleshguards start at 4 dex/ str ..would give others a chance to make some half decent stuff and not be miles behind in the accessory department... I believe there was an easter event or summat year before last where ppl obtained shit loads of dts/rdt's? etc..... thats where a lot of these op accessories originated from? duno....
ur average joe aint got +5 dex accessories nvm +10
anyway ..whatever ;p

Some new stuff with more stats to start with would gave a more even footing for newer guys....

Someone needs craft skill to add dps/ke's/ toes etc to make good armour or weapons... yet... someone with a big pile of tows/rdt/dts and no skill can make ridiculously op accessories that trump any weps or armour ingame..
So... no skill req to make accessories that will beat any armour or weapons .. if high enough and enough of them...
That is a reason to nerf accessories or at least require some skill to add them.

all this talk of nerfing bows or whatever wep/armour is just a distraction from ridiculous acessories that are mostly the possessions of a few players.
I say no more

PS lots of old eq/dl players seem to have returned in the last week.... wb to you all x
has there been some leak of update being released imminently? ;p

Would still like to see some pvp gear brought it, none upgradable but half decent items so noobs can join in but still get wrecked by someone who's fully geared

the game pretty much starts at 70s-80s when you start getting the materials/upgrades you need to make yourself gear or trade with other players and lets not forget you can get hero armor aswell with decent stats to hunt.

Bump. Support spells please - so getting 5th axed isn't instant death for 99% of players. Maybe something Fin can look into after the cap increase.

new arm/wep tiers and cap upgrades at +2/3 on them. meaning you can use ur old +8 wep but wont do as much damage since new arm will prevent that. most people will switch up to new weps so shotgun bows wont be in use as much. new arm/wep tiers periodically will keep everything fresh

I also thought about a special weapon for really high skill maybe with already attached accuracy which can't be removed when upgraded. Untradeable. Make it need really high skill and not -m so people basically only skill 1 wep. A bit like an and game wep per class.
