Looks to me like a silent buff has maybe gone too far the other way lol. Don't give that sword to carnage lol

Dan's not said anything about a buff to Shironim.

Besides, high droprate on epic/intense is not what the solution is, it's just remove junk items and give it a unique dropfile to make him more like a boss than a glorified Kharil Lizard.

I kind of dont get what your trying to achieve. Your complaining about the drops of a monster that has a respawn time of like 13 hours?

In comparison to other boss' this is a vastly shorter respawn period. If the junk was removed, there will be a vast increase of the amount of end game weapons, rendering the game "too easy".

Which is why he has suggested a removal of the helms as well as a simultanious change in either a) drop rate reduction or b) an increase in spawn time.

Also if I'm not mistaken this is the only boss worth farming for items (excluding boss souls).

Not changed shironim at all.

Keep in mind Shironim spawns every 18000 seconds that's certainly a lot more than any other boss (every 5 hours).

Again Dan, the whole point in the thread:

Increase spawn timer, give him unique loot to make him more of a boss, rather than a glorified Kharil Lizard.

And yeah, I didn't think you did make any change(s), just a streak of luck after a huge number of fruitless kills :p

The issue is by improving the spawn time it will make it certainly harder for new mages to gain weaken no?

Ah yes, very good point.

Could simply make another Dsoma mage boss? Like Hartman.
We do have far less bosses to look forward to than Hsoma, perhaps why our bosses spawn more frequently.

Possibly a dsoma hartman would be fine but itd need some suitable weapons/armour to drop that arent dropped by androctonus/blood akah etc.
