So it was confirmed in-game that patch is hopefully ready and released for 14th December.

HYPE!

Can anyone leave details of what the patch does for people like me that have not used the test server before?
Obviously level cap increase, and a big switch up in stats for DSOMA char's

If we can use this thread constructively i will edit this front page with all of the new features that patch will bring, making it helpful for returning players to see.

best bet is to look at the Change Log

tho il add a couple that's cross world here

- Grey mode changes:
Grey mode is kept after death.
Grey mode timer is now incremental, starts at 30 seconds (instead of original 120 seconds), increases by 30 seconds for each kill, increases by 30 seconds for each 200 health healed on grey targets, capped at maximum of 300 seconds (5 minutes).


- The percent system used for GVW/Wotw/SS/RvR has been changed to apply the percent to the damage value instead of attack and defense (F10 stats). This was changed because the other method caused massive reduction in damage for some classes and big increases in damage for other classes, with the change it is now equal for all.

- Changed the GVW warp location at the end of war to be within Town instead of outside GV.


- Boss spawn delays are now saved into the database in case of server crash and for when server is rebooted. The delays are re-loaded when the server starts up and the delay will continue from where it was instead of resetting.

- Bosses that spawn with a real time delay are now announced 5 minutes prior to them spawning. Bosses that spawn based on in-game Soma time or are spawned by command or event will announce when they spawn.

- Separated attack and non-attack aura cooldowns. They can now be casted separately as was intended in

- Support for more party members (up to 10, need charisma though +1 slot every 10.0 after 50.0)


DSOMA:

- Added a Devil Soma PK Town. Can be accessed from an NPC at the revive location for PKers in Pandi.

- Moved Infernal Cave portal to be closer to Pandi Town (it is now at the Sedlak area to the bottom right).

- Moved HWan portal to where Infernal Cave portal used to be.

- Pandi arena has been moved to a more central location.

- Armor crafting added to Devil Soma.

- Removed weapon skill requirements on Devil Soma and made weapons require the class to equip (Experimental Change MAY NOT BE IN LIVE).

- Changed Devil Soma stat system to not have class specific maximums (Experimental Change). Allows every class to be able to get stats up to the highest stat cap. Hoping this will enable more variety in builds and fix the issue where classes can't do things like get a lot of con and wis and be a tank etc.

HSOMA:
SpoilerShow

- An arena has been added to the centre of TYT.

- More int armors have been added to Human Soma armor crafting.

- Crafters are now given more chance of getting a tagged item based on their skill in the crafting skill required to craft the item.

- Moved spawn to abias and Vod for enraged boar.

- Increase Human Soma Stat Caps with slow downs

- Add gems to normal monsters

Brilliant news. Things we need to know tho. What rates will xp be after lvl101 and will levels 1-100 still remain as what they are now/ be increased? Unlimited rested before level 101? Will u gain rested after level 101.

Positive news but would like to know.

The big question to me is what new items / hero armour / hero wep / upgrade items are going to be around?

Need to have items that make old players want to return, if current +8 items ect are still going to be endgame I can’t see many oldies coming back.

Maybe a new tier of CT DT ToW RDT ect that add double what they do now. Same with KE / DP that way current stuff still useful but can also be improved / made easier.

Proly have to wait for patch details to be published..but they aint likely to be changed now from whats already 99.99% decided already


Let the patch happen peacefully...then complain what u want/need changing

no intention of complaining, quite the opposite, very thankful for the news of a release being so close.
The thread is intended to get info from the test server live on the first post, so people that hear of a patch can get all the info in one place as there is nowhere else offering that at the moment, i also have no clue what is new and coming with the new patch.

Some questions I have that might be on other people's minds:

- what are the new daily mark armours? Cosmetic skins or better than current gear?

- will a +8 intense stinger or a +5 intense grim crossbow still be the best items available at 110?

- will pos continue to work in the same (useless) way or will there be incentives to rvr?

- wont it be mad if there are 50 lvl 100 devils all leveling at 1 spawn of mobs?

In general there are a lot of amazing and great quality of life changes in this patch (love devil pk town, buyback etc) but also plenty of worries.

Can legit see humans winning 20 or 30 wotws in a row until they are at 50% stats if all devils got melee stats to level fast and pk each other. Then the new balance will be devil archers 2 hitting humans and human mages 2 hitting most devils....aka worse than now.

agreed there strelka RvR be dead for most devs except archers with the new stat allocation system.

Too add to this how many times can we adjust the stats, would there be a point in /respec forss and wotw?

will the con cap increase? if so what to..?

I like idea of tabs doing double on above lvl 100 weps/armour so it keeps the original tabs as a currency for under lvl 100s maybe

@donatello if con increases then technically this would create potential new super chars as you would want to hit the new con target as low level as possible

1) was mentioned that they would be a new armor like the season event armors, tho wasnt mentioned that the daily mark armor would be this (just linkin comments togeather)

2) no comment on new weapons or proper armor have been mentioned, tho a hint that a new big boss (asuming will take over the roll of gorshak (and be the new server name) thus somthing needs to drop from this

3)no change to pos as of yet for this patch

4) apai are uncaped currently, and theres a new mob, but yes this could be a issue

5) isyl has mentioned about manualy changeing the % to stop 50 loss's ect
