End of the samurai?

What are the benefits? Yes i am hard to hit, and probably level more efficiently also. But i see no benefits over someone who has gone axe, capped str, has 100dex and serious int to go along with it.

This is my point, it isn't like you need to bin your character if you have gone pure sword or knuckle - it's just that people should be aware that some weapon combos are significantly better than others when it comes to efficiently using the finite amount of % that each character has.

Saying 'there are trade-offs for everyone so its fine' doesn't acknowledge the fact that some tradeoffs are worse than others.

The discussion I am trying to have isn't so much about the fact that DEX is 'better' than STR or anything like that. A character that is using axe is also using bow - and so can tailor his stats efficiently to match the slows and/or break through them. A character using a one-size-fits-all weapon (sword, knuck) can't do this and ends up with so much 'wasted' %. You just have to look at the report of Acaelus' STR gains (per %) with power axe v snakebite to see what I mean.

The real beauty of all this, is its pure speculation.

Nobody really knows.

I think its great that all players should be pretty unique in the long term!

"CYROX"We have to ask.....why would someone want to sacrafice capping str for an additional 10dex?

Pretty sure anyone can cap str easily with 110+ dex , only downside is they wont have much int,

In exactly the same way people can cap int and have 100+ dex, only downside is they wont have much str.
