ppl don't like hunting different mobs tho, they will just farm them with newbs

Or the XP those mobs give should be removed.

Either way in case of making them:
HSoma -
Easiest is pot crafting, 70 skill or so. Could split it over cooking and potions.

DSoma -
NPC made (exchange npc)
Recipe made (crafting with fail rate)
Simply gather x items and right click them.
Drops (bosses/ top end mobs)

What's the problem with them working on monsters?
1 minute potion that probably will be somewhat costly, to level for 60 minutes with a potion like that simply should just cost shitloads of barr or the recipe for them could require materials that are somewhat limited.

If this was made into potion and cooking crafting, Hsoma mats should only drop from conti therefore making more people hunt there and attend war.

At the same time the mobs on conti should be rejigged to cater for all. Spawns moved, mobs changed etc

Could you make it so every1 would know when you're using a pot.. for example when you use a hp pot atm you glow red for a second. You could make it so when you use a +10MA pot you glow light blue for the full 60 second duration. Each pot would make you glow a different color.

Hmm, this is a good point. As well as crafting mats for the potions conti would do with some other craft mats (small/med gems, lower tier crafting mats).

I agree with this. I've never understood why gems havn't dropped on conti before

I like the idea of stat pots but would they be made in a way that its for pvp, pve or both? However i disagree with unique mats available only on conti as some players such as myself want nothing to do with devils and this would exclude us.

As such you don't want to have anything to do with Bone armour, 120skill weapons, Tower shield etc?

Conti must have incentive for people to want it - unique drops would help in that manner.

If you don't want to partake in the full range of activities available in the game, you should not expect the full range on items available to you drop wise.

Sounds like an interesting idea which I wouldn't be against, though to be honest I feel like this is a band-aid (plaster :)) over the real issues.

For example, this could be used to increase melee attack... or we could directly increase attack and fix the problem outright etc.

Melee attack is fine now especially with the ever increasing amount of pamoth weapons.

Agreed 100%! Not only that, hunting on Conti is fun and makes you hunt and keep alert, unlike hunting the same old haunts day in day out! I like shatters idea and think it would make conti more contested!
