pleaaaase please fix dsoma mages!!

"REHLINA"hopeing chain lightning fix will help with GS levelling speed tho wont be able to afford -x for quite awile


Can't see how it would affect leveling speed in any way.
We already have hellfire, and that isn't useable after Elite Gargoyle Fighters.

Hellfire reqs the mobs next to each other whilst chain lightning gives you a little space

Only thing I'm countin on or my mage won't be getting leveled much more, just keep off 100% rested

One of the reasons Dsoma is so flat is because of the class problems. As far as i know, just like esoma there is no real point in going axe and archers are always by far the strongest class. Being a mage has been good in this server but will still never beat archers, no class beats archers.

It's in a worse state than it was on Esoma, I can't understand this idea that they're any better here.

Massive str isn't really worth much if they can't actually hit very often, that's just the view I've always had though to me they're only used for 3rd/5th and maybe 2nd for holding a gvw stone.

Axers aren't the only class that I expect to cap STR. Except for archer and maybe knuckle I think each class will hit the STR cap (mage excluded obviously - though a pure punch mage might be able to reach it).

Just though id add, i basicly quit because of such poor gains for alot of effort, a full int lvl at lvl 77 to 78 i basicly gained the following, 3.1 int 0.9 str 1.2 wis 0.6 dex 1.0 con, for this stage of dsoma that is absolutely terrible compared to what a melee gets on wbm of the same level, i asked carnage and he was getting close to 3 in str/dex/con aswell as 1.5~ dex, this completely demotivated me, a mob with similar stats to wbm is needed or you are just wasteing levels later, my mage stands at 145 int 106 str 106 dex 110 con 113 wisdom i think, i quit months ago due to the fact of knowing that a mob wasnt going to be added soon and it would just ruin my character, so if u want to play a mage just be aware of your gains later and be prepared to wait for a mob.

I also punched every single % from lvl 72 to 77 to gain around 2 str 1 dex 2 con a level, and trust me this is not easy at something like 1% a hour, this is the only reason i have somewhat ok str/con/dex at the moment but doing this until level 100 defeats the purpose of the class really, aswell as other classes still gaining better stats at the same level as i would always be too low stats to punch the same mob as the same lvl melee class would be (Me punching hwan ab compared to a melee on wbm would be drastic difference)

I will remain quit untill a new monster with somewhat comparable gains to melee at wbm, seems silly that they dont have a mob with similar stats (wbm have something like 185-190 str whereas mages top mob has 145 int which just gimps us even more) appears but till then just think what your in for before lvling a mage to a high level, mage after level 70 will just rapidly fall behind every melee class unless you punch every single % which will still leave u behind but not so much

Not enough mages have reached the stage of getting terrible gains yet, but once u do and see the other classes gains compared im pretty sure u will quit too, so i doubt we are going to see any capped level mages like the other classes eventualy unless its sorted

I basicly check the site daily in hope, but untill other mages get to this stage i doubt its a rush so i can only wait :p

My mage is on ice for the mean time, wanted to level a melee anyway so no problem but I'd rather wait and see what happens.

agree 100%, but mages aint going to be reaching this stage due to how slow GS are, think it proves how much you can put up with doing 5 punch lvls

mages dont need anything vs archers or any class tbh they can alrdy 2-3 hit lvl 85-90+ if left alone, no other class can do this . as for the other things mention dont care tbh not a mage :p but an equal mob would be fair

Sorry I thought it was better because of the extra dmg outpout on spells. But i'm not a high level mage so I don't know yet.

The one thing this server has which is better than Esoma is the damage cap being extended...
Which is only fair seeing as Melee's damage isn't capped.

Esoma had (for devil mages)

Upgradable spells (lv2, 3, 4 status spells).
Negamare's Infusion (end-game spell higher than ex-x)
Devil Friends +5int +5dex +5str (in this case, just the INT that matters)
Robes of the Fallen (Magic attack set)
135 skill staff
Endgame magic monster to be on par with melee's WBM

and more magic attack accessories.

The magic defence issue was being addressed just as the server was shut down.
