Pretty pointless suggesting/advocating that PKs are "self-policed" when you/your guild camp a spawn then repeatedly kill the same person (who asks you to stop and doesn't fight back) with multiple characters from your own guild to "get around" your own (suggested) rules.

Can we please keep this thread to productive discussion on how to improve the game for everyone not "He did this and she did that"

I am getting sick of putting my own hours in to improve to the game to just it all turn into a flame thread.

So quick to criticise jac.... i heard nothin other than discussion and asking for ppls ideas and suggestions. Good to have some chit-chat... Trying to keep things civilised is the idea of these podcasts i think.
As was discussed... the future of the game rests on every1 working together to a large extent. Makes life easier for the gm's if there's a cohesive community, and they can spend time on game content, rather than waving the schoolmasters stick every morning.
If other players see things from a different perspective write ya shit down or make a vid... Don't constantly diss matty/tom when they puttin time n effort into doin this kinda stuff.
Good work guys.. getting a guest each week sounds a good idea...would stop the accusations of bias or only expressing your own opinions. Would proly help with getting less negative comments too

I am not trying to flame the thread.

I am not so quick to criticise either Lupi.

I have listened to all the podcasts and followed all the previous discussions (including all the “he did this and she did that”). Most of it is interesting and, as usual, a spattering of crap from a militant few.

However, having just finished listening to episode 4 and having it fresh in my mind (from episode 3, the consequential viral thread and episode 4) that the PK system could be “self-policed” I find myself at a boss spawn where I am repeatedly killed and prevented from hunting until the boss dies (by the very same person/people advocating against such puerile behaviour).

It’s hard to remain positive and constructive when the very people that ask us to stop behaving in this manner go and do precisely that within minutes of their own podcast being aired.

I logged off afterwards – something else I think the same people are trying to avoid.

If people want to change the game for the better they should consider leading by example.

Jack i already explained this to you,

Your in the rival guild to VK and you expect VK to not kill you at a boss?
Last week i turned up at Pamoth on my own on cupid.. Tyrese didnt let me even go near the boss.

Should i treat you differently to what Tyrese treat me?
No... because why should i.. The rival will never leave us and we dont want it to.. Were not asking for pk to be changed in this way, Were asking for it to be changed so that others can hunt in peace without the worry of PK!.

I wont discuss this any more with you, Your total blind to what i tried to talk to you about.
Like i said i will bring this up in the next discussion. as you do have a valid point, But like ive said DL would not let a VK member go near a boss so why should VK do any different to a DL member.
There is nothing else to say on this matter as everyone already knows!!

That being so your podcasts are pointless.

I realise it can be difficult to see everything that is typed in “PM” because the window is small and it scrolls up out of view. I did read what you typed but I don’t think you saw the replies.

I take the point about DL vs. VKs. I didn’t miss it nor am I blind to it.

Other folk may well kill you repeatedly “on sight”, I am not one of them. I talk to your people at the whores without attacking them and tank for them if they are on nubs. I realise this doesn’t overcome your DL vs. VK point.

Within podcast 4 you state that you and your guild will leave someone alone if they request it. You cited Lordcoos a long standing player in and proponent of DL and say that you left him alone at his request to hunt. I asked twice and was ignored. Instead I was repeatedly killed until the boss died.

You also advocate that it is pointless to kill someone over and over again especially if they aren’t fighting back. I didn’t fight back, I asked for it to stop and you continued over and over. For reasons I can’t understand I was called a pilot when I asked for the killing to stop.

That has nothing to do with DL vs. VKs . It is your podcast and sub sequential thread advocating a self-policing PK policy which you then, pretty much instantly, abuse.

I was (will remain cautiously) hopeful that your podcasts and enthusiasm for the game will bring about something good. However, you really can’t preach one rule for “us” then practice the contrary for yourself.

I don't want to talk to much on this subject as I vary rarely pk. And not really in the know abouts what's gone on. I've listened to all the podcasts. Only half way through 4 tho.

It probably should differ but it's probably split 3 ways about pking. And all 3 probably need policing in a different way. Pk wars seem fine atm. I think what the guys are talking about is more open world play while hunting away. I think pk at bosses is a different subject. I'm in the same boat as you Jac. I haven't been to the last 10 bosses because as soon I'm there and because I'm in vk I get pkd away. Can't get near. There are some i really want to go too. But if I ask in guild and no one wants to go or no one on hen I don't even bother. Some of DL and titans leave me alone and let me join in as I have friends in both guilds and they know I rarely join pk wars. Others attack me and make sure indont come close to the boss. Even if it means them not even attacking too and missing the kill themselvs

I can understand why guilds would want to PK rival guilds away from bosses. Fighting over the drops. Absolutely fair play to me. I do wonder what it would be like if a randomer who doesn't really want to join in with the PKing and just wants the chance to get some good drops tries to join in though... Do they get PKd away too?
