Yeah I agree was great to see such a high lvl of devil turnout.

Yeah at about 1:40ish in the video I cast firestorm twice, first hit does 6 damage and the second does 1, with 141 int.

The whole problem with RVR is that any melee based Humans with capped strength do literally nothing to Devils, all whilst getting 3-4 hit depending on the class. There's literally no point in them turning up.

Manticore kills me in 2 hits + 4th with 160 points in strength (I have 162) and everything else maxed out, can stand across the other side of the screen and tank various chars with 176-200 int. No idea what stats Jaheira was using apart from max wis as she was tanking the majority of hsoma and could hit+4th pretty much everyone. She only seemed to die when potting herself to death whilst zombie'd.

This char is only level 94 but the above is still relevant. Chars with close to 200str/200int get absolutely destroyed. They can barely get a cast off and even if they do, its doing considerably less damage than what they're taking from someone click locking from 8 yards away.

Devils have had their stats reduced in the latest patch, but their damage is still far too high. The attack on weapons in comparison to hsoma, along with the upgrade system in place now means that there's archers running around with speed B crossbows and attack gear that don't miss.

Now the stat system is in place I'd drop stats further to be in line with humans take make RVR more balanced and enjoyable.

One v one will never work though human soma population is triple that of devil so it can't be balanced that way. Why do you think the % is what we are on now humans have destroyed us previous week's. This week we barely won despite being higher % and with wis specced chars.

I don't mention 1v1 pvp, my point is about the disparity in damage. Hsoma has a higher population yeah, but compare the numbers that go to GVW to that at WotW and you'll see why its a problem, melee chars just don't go because they're completely useless. The only people that go to wotw are the ones that have some int and are happy to try and win even though they last about 2 seconds outside of the safe zone.

Last night seemed pretty comfortable for devils to me.

with 160str and x2 devil allys my dmg was kinda low compare to what it is normally this was not an optimal setup for me i still died alot.
This patch nerfed us on md/def/att and all classes gained massive amount of dex at 110

With 140+ Dex and 199 str, in attack access and 20% accuracy in armour I barely lay a glove on devil archers. While they honestly do 3/4 of my HP in hit 4th hit and never miss. So I don’t bother going now.

i completely understand u and u are partially right but dsoma isnt only archers we had mages/spear/axers there maybe you could focus to classes that u are able to hit?

That's the problem though, if a capped melee char does hit, they do min damage.

thats not a stat problem is the whole % system separate the values for de/magic def and meele will huurt

I was max str and max wis, my con and dex was considerably lower, just noone tryed melee me

And yes with 170 wis and 16 wis from access and omni robes I could tank hsoma magic with 100+ hp pots, tho as soon as I was zombied the dmg from my own pots was to much, even tho I serumed zombie off, couldn't recover that (and yes even with 170 wis I was potting like mad)

The problem is how is a devil melee char ment to fight that amount of human magic and normal wis, as well was zombie, think this proves how op zombie is tbf

You seem to do pretty well here considering there's ~10 people attacking you. If it wasn't for zombie you wouldn't have died as you can see in the first clip. Jnjuny is also meleeing you in those clips and the damage is terrible considering you've sacrificed con for wis.

The problem is that 5-6 semi decent humans have to target 1 devil to have a chance of killing them with max wisdom. Manticore, you were naked and tanked a few mages with capped int, fully geared out that is crazy.



We barely had 50 at that WoW, and you guys had absolutely tons. Given that we did have a lot more at the end than before, there is still such a huge number of mages that have to stick to one target collectively to have an attempt at dropping them.

Fair play to devils for the huge outcome, also have to keep in mind the % system which you guys were on 90%(?).

My point is themat that we have still lost for 2 months and you are asking for us to be nerfed? If we are the unstoppable force you claim us to be why have we been so easily stopped for 2 months? And even if you guys were buffed instead of us being nerfed we would never see conti again.

A few points:
- It seems quite a few devils quit because of guild drama.
- Some people that didn't like the stat system went to hsoma.
- To be blunt, a lot of dsoma players couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery.

in order to keep getting wis for wotws i have to farm 6+hours per day to do the 2 dailies that are available for my lvl its not that easy i call it fair.

usercount was 191 during the War Isylver can confirm it have him on a video footage that was cut on editing and clearly shows u had way more numbers than us.
