new healing system

"TAKESHI"Hurricane I don't think anyone would be happy with this change, if this was implemented to affect gvw then surely a debuff In the room similar to abias Stam recovery one (but for reduced healing done) would be a better alternative, as was previously mentioned , a lot of people both melee and mages have benefitted from heal, whether that be from a pocket healer for melee or from slightly faster int due to less heals required to top you up, this would be more noticeable early on at prisms especially as when I fist went I took them one on one, healed up and went again

Agreed with the debuff idea however I think a change overall was needed due to people being able to 'outheal' damage easily? Thats my thought anyway.

I think someone with higher int or higher str/Dex should be able to outheal damage, if someone with 90 str and 70 Dex hit someone with 140 str 90 Dex doing little damage and not hitting that often, their damage should be heal able and same with int

And obviously so, but with the previous heal values someone with less str/dex is able to out heal the melee damage of someone with significantly higher str / dex.

How much difference are we talking?
I've at least 15more dex than Tolic for example and he interrupts every 2nd (on average) heal of mine.
I suspect this is due to accuracy gear, but with 15dex and 6% evasion he blocks his fair share.

Now if you have 15 dex more than your target (and accuracy gear) then you'll interrupt a fair number of heals.

Can't help but think the problem lies more with the fact that healing's counter (weaken) is just too easy to remove, hence why nobody mentions it as a viable way to reduce healing.

I'd propose upping the recoil of Cure to 2,000 and increasing all serum weight cost to 10.

Never do you see status spells being used with any seriousness in pvp, and if weakening is occurring, it's usually group pvp where one person is a dedicated weakener.

This is why people who hunt raptors shouldn't be voicing their concerns on how to win a guild village. Heal was fine. IMO anyway

Like i've said in a couple other places I'm a low level and don't even go to gvw I use the heal as a major hunting tool just got level 3 a few days ago and now it's nerfed

I guess other lower level players can't be too happy either, but since it's subject to change I guess I shouldn't be too mad but it is a tad annoying already.

If the changes are intended for PVP and wars, perhaps one idea would be to take away attack mode at GV and only allow PK mode. With this the spells can be adjusted. For example in attack mode healing is unchanged. In PK mode healing effects are reduced.

That if a change is required at all.

People have to remember that if you go by the theory that 'everyone should have it as hard as I had it', then the game can never be improved. You can say the same about Hero parts - I was one of the first to get Hero, and I never had special dura warnings - therefore people getting hero now have a significant advantage over me. BUT, the game has been improved...

I personally see this as an improvement to the game..

You probably have around or over 100 INT though, right? ;)

This especially impacts the poor and weak, as Ghostlord mentioned. This isn't a theory on 'everyone should have it as hard as I had it', quite the contrary. It's so that new / lower players don't have to have it significantly more difficult than you had it. I don't think that's a good player base to target in such a way. Be mindful that this would essentially throw hours upon hours, to achieve the same result.
