I’m not sure whether A. This has been suggested or B. If it’s possible.

I think the k/d part of the game could be reset in a seasonly fashion. IE - for 3 months rack up your k/d in season one, at the end of the season, the ‘league table’ is concluded, a prize is shared to the top 3 maybe?

Then the K/D table is reset, for season two. I think this would add a massive competitive side to the whole pking system. This along side maybe lowering the pk range to 5/10 levels?

Just to add - maybe a season specific weapon?

Season one reward.
Stinger of might
Better stats than top end bows.

This would mean there would only be a few bows in circulation, bringing a somewhat elitist feel to the league Winners

good idea, but how do u stop KD farming. and ppl killing farming chars that want to die to carry on farming/leveling?

only way this would work is if you could opt out chars so they dont contribute to kills/deaths .

Agreed that would be difficult, opting out sounds good.

I would like to hope as long as the prize has a good value, people would compete hard enough, illegal k/d farming would have to be done on a noticeable scale

one of the best PVP ideas I've seen in a long time ...
... as long as we find a way to stop farming K/D

Season points -
2 points for a kill (killing a grey)
1 point for a kill (when grey)

Get a leaderboard up on the website, maybe make a PVP page/tab

1st place gets 30 pvp tokens
2nd + 3rd get 20 pvp tokens
4th-8th get 10 pvp tokens
9th - 20th get 5 pvp tokens

Resets monthly .. ?

Shop in TyT and Gypo town trades tokens for OP gearz / mats like SS

Watch me grind!

... Now, afk whilst i think of a way to stop KD farming =/

You can't just have a char to use as a farmer with 0 risk that's crazy, everyone should be able to be PK'd and not removed from KD ratios, a kills a kill, warp or log off, or ask your guild to chase them off

The only thing that should be discounted and penalised is killing your mate to give them immunity

I like the PvP token idea! Good shout!

To be honest, I think immunity should be scrapped at level 115 anyway, immunity should be for people low level/still grinding levels.

The grey kill thing wouldn't work, naturally pkers are devil/angel moral dependant on world so only ever gets kills as the grey person

good point - a simple 1 point per kill would probably be better in that case
unless you made it so you also go grey for attacking a devil/wicked moral character?

the reason i split it to 2 and 1 points is that if a player goes grey it generally is due to the player feeling they have the upper hand, maybe in a 2v1 group etc ... so rewarding a grey kill with more points in my head makes sense.

If we cant make it so people go grey for attacking a devil/wicked moral i'd say keep it 1 point per kill

Or.. not sure if it’s possible a point system dependant on the victims gear score at the time of death? Making naked kills count less towards the ranking?

main point here is...

You cant stop k/d farming..so the idea isn't very good.... good in theory...but impossible to implement in any meaningful way

Maybe make more of the duelling feature.
Arena in Merc is quite big. Maybe enable running during the duel, and have 1 v1 duels.. these tally up for points as described above.
As it's 1 vs 1 ppl can't moan there was 3 ppl attacking them etc.
At least it's an opt in if you think ur hard enough or fancy ur chances kinda thing.

Ermm ppl duelling themselves and farming the points . Well.. ye. still thinking too ;)

Basically wants a major overhaul

The system needs to detect assists, and the amount of times said victim has died

So basically however many pk points you give could be dependant on level and gear score of the victim and then is dished out on the % of dmg done by each pker to the total that's available from the victim

Then on multiple kills on the same target will be less pk points each time

Kills on extreme lower levels could reward 0 and then multiple kills on this player could lead to minus points

Multiple kills could be saved and slowly removed over a period of time(so say you pked a lvl 120 multiple times to the point he now gives 0pk points, 12 hours later he could only be worth 2 pkpoints to the same pker)

add in a league table should add in enough competition for pkin

Could possibly add in a name color for the number 1 spot( bragging rights)

Plus each league reset could post to the feed the top 3
