Lol unlimited immunity is an awful idea I'm sorry just make an offline version of soma and sell it through the donation store for 20 quid if you're going that route the an online mmorpg needs pk and it is already soft enough In my opinion, the issue is the 2 guilds of geared chars vs the solo players and under geared small guilds., unfortunately no way to change that.

I do not believe that unlimited immunity is under any consideration

maybe players should put forward some ideas about this for gm/committee to discuss..

2 kills for the immunity to take effect, results in the player doing the pk knows he's virtually guaranteed the 2 kills and makes the option too easy, with the other just having to stand and take it, in a rather undignified manner

Could maybe shorten the immunity to 15 mins, but make it result from just the 1 kill...and you can even fight back. Seems a bit unfair atm..if u try to fight back , then immunity doesnt happen. Fighting back should be rewarded at least by 15 mins peace....if you get killed
...or...pff duno..what do ppl think or suggest for a change?

why not make it so when u get pkd it adds 15-30mins to your immunity period.. immunity can stack upto 6hours maybe when you go into /immunitymode and it begins to decrease when in that mode? but can pause it whenever

though when u turn it on and off there should be a cooldown period set in place or a countdown similar to log out that can be interrupted like 5 seconds that way it prevents the mode being abused by players evading pvp after being pkd just once or if they are the ones who initially started the fight and start to lose etc

there should also be a penalty in place depending on morale.. if ur a pker u lose the ability to get pk immunity etc

*nods head* hear! hear! With a condition that the victim doesn't attack back, then the moaners can't moan why they can't ruin the evening of the casual soma player, this would be much better.

I wanted to develop a wiki page but the toxicity of pk'ing when its CLEAR I am not interested with no solution just put me right off, I saw it happens to others and imagine a number of newer players have quit as well, they just won't post here because they move on.

the 2pk 30 min rule is good!. it was brought in because u abused people to the point players could not even leave town/hunt at all. The abuse you gave to the majority of players is 1000x more than what i have done. They are talking about making it so you can completely opt out of pvp. This will make the game basically PVE only. in turn i will also then quit for good. thats all im saying


shame he didn't get you fuck nuggets to quit then, the server was great before you 2 showed up, no toxic shouts, no irl threats

Can we get a news article on the front page confirming the changes and dates of upcoming events. WIll be a breath of fresh air having the news updates before the event starts rather than on the day they start :D

I think for PK it would make more sense to have an opt in/out /command but that has a long cool-down timer on it so that you can’t just go from PK to no PK whenever you feel like it.

If not that then just close the gap to 5 levels after level 100 at least.

PvP should mainly be big even-ish fun battles imo not a fully geared 120 running up and twice gunning down a level 100 in a couple of hits.

What enjoyment does the pker even get out of that?

With regards to pvp change

Changing level limit - it is already near impossible to find people on dsoma to pvp and if you restrict it further to 5level - this will become a shit show. Also on hsoma I think every1 agrees leveling should be easier and drops should improve for noobs to catch up in gear, the reason for all of this so that they could enjoy pvp/be able to defend each other... if so, then lets not ruin pvp with a limit change as there are other things in the pipeline for that.

People who get attacked should be motivated to gear up, level up and then fight back... bring back some balls to these young blood.

Changing immunity time - again this should not be touched as we lost a lot of players in the past because of it and now its good enough to be able to level up without issues (x2 res scroll per 30mins at worse case).

What we need to enforce are the fokers that pk themselves. GM+ Council need to be on top of banning anyone who tries to abuse it or at the very least tax them 1million per kill on alt char or ally for immunity. There are 0 point to have a system that can be abused without repercussions.

Make it easier for noobs to level up on non +50mobs, get decent drops, be able to make good weaps and the rest they just need to suck it up.

Dont play soma if you dont want to engage in pvp... whole point of the game is you train up , gear up, skill up to make a fighting character.. now all the people who want to level up from 1-120 can just turn off pk mode?? and once they are happy with all gear etc then they can turn it back on... thats insane on multiple levels.. most people have multiple chars, so they can just assign 1 as the pvp and rest will just farm mobs, bosses, etc freely.

I can't even imagine soma where you cant get to a boss spawn and have some pk fun... i mean not like the UC allows that these days
