Fin tried increasing cast speed a few years back.. something technical beyond my understanding... but didn't work

should have been in arena during event ;p isylver was giving ppl a demo on like 0 delay casting, 500 rec casting etc.

I would like to see a teleport type spell where it feathers you in the direction of your cursor

Or a blaze spell that burns the ground behind you as you walk

There's 2 auras I'd like to see added for mages.

4th - 15 or 20s cool down. Blink aura. Click any square within range 7 and move there. Can be used alongside passive auras without interrupting them. Works like a gbird and cancels click lock.


5th - 60 or 90 second cool down (same as stone maybe?). Spell cast time reduction for either 4-5s or a set number of casts. Reduces cast time of all spells by 50%. Can be used alongside passive auras.

Both auras mean machine gun weps can still stop mages it just gives mages an increased chance to cast if timed right.

Its hard with mage

As it probly only wants def auras, but 1 aura use makes all rest auras pointless

Would love if say (devils 4th was classed as att aura so could use evasion aura ect ect at same time)

Then you could also have auras like blink(suggested above), with out this the 4th devil aura cool down would possibly kill any chance to use blink

My suggestion-

Freeze aura- freezes everyone withing 7 range (using 5th stones duration method) all attacks on a frozen target breaks the freeze effect (other than frost attacks) insert new spell here :D

Could use the water animation as a still animation on frozen target

Adds alot of tactics (hitting own allies to unfreze em) ect ect

Keeps with the nega theme aswell

Would be cool in the future then to have some auras that do dmg over time within area of caster ect

Remove a charging animation from a spell cast seems like a quick casting speed up fix amirite?

Definitely having auras run side by side like all other classes would be a welcome addition

Everyone whinges about the one bangs, but some knuckles hit faster than the cast time and proc bangs...

#Logic...

A disarm aura would be nice, with a hefty cooldown, strips the weapon from the hand. Would give mages the quick few seconds they’d need to counter an archer/knuckler, would even help if you’re about to be stoned.

28th Jan 2020: King Pacheon has finally arrived safely back at his castle from Thousand Year Town.

He is extremely pleased with the new anvils and with the hard work of his loyal subjects (well of some of them anyway) and has therefore decided to send forth his Royal Quartermaster with rewards for all of those who took part in gathering the vital particles.

The Quartermaster is, right now, hurriedly gathering up those items ordered by the King and will make his way as soon as he has got all that he needs together.

To aid him in identifying who is rightly deserving of the King’s blessing, the Royal Thaumaturge will soon distribute identifiers to those so deserving of his praise.

King Pacheon’s Anvil has finally reached Thousand Year Town.

The King has travelled from his castle to see it for himself.

Hidden buried underneath it was found a second anvil where-in lurked a darker soul...

The King has seen fit to give this “Dark Anvil” to Shri of the devils to maintain balance in the lands of Soma.

Before they can be used, the anvils need “activating” once more to re-invigorate their magical powers - which have faded low during the centuries spent buried underground.

Activation will require life-force particles to be gathered from all of the creatures throughout the lands of Soma and returned to the King or to Shri.

The activations will require two distinct steps to complete, firstly to awaken them once more and then secondly, to restore their magic fully.

Once enough life-force has been harvested, the new anvils will be imbued with it by the King.

The King commands that both the devils and the humans will harvest life-force at the same time if this push is to be fully effective.

The King may well reward those who help with this Royal Quest. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< LUPI

The King will soon ordain when the harvest shall commence and commands all to make ready!

Once the Anvils have finally been activated, their power will be revealed to all.....................
