I like the idea on failure it removes all upgrades and then freezes out any additional upgrades being applied

"L1NK"
Imo items should not break upon upgrade. Maybe make them character bound? Which also succeeds taking them out of trading circulation.

Two good idea's if implemented together. I'd love to upgrade my rare HH but couldn't risk losing it as it's so rare for the mid levels to get any of the higher end tagged weapons.

how about for a failed upgrade its reset back to 0 upgrades and takes 200 dura off max and brakes 2000 dura off ya weap

so if your weap has 2001 dura after a failure it will end on 1 dura needing a SR which will repair to 1801

if it fails on 1999 dura it will break due to the -2000 dura for fail

this way its a little less harsh, and your permantly loseing dura on fail meaning your cant permantly keep upgrading(figures may want altering)

Don't really think the upgrade success needs altering but perhaps making 2 pamoths, one vod one conti, I still don't get how pamoth dies in 2 mins for the same amount of weapons as the flower boss which takes a hour.

I said this a little while back, Pamoth needs upgrading now that people are high enough it dies in 2 minutes.

why dont you just make upgrades success rate better by skill? Every 10 after 100skill you have 10% more chance of succeeding? Obviously Going for +2 or +3 it could knock that 10% back off. This would make people do more crafting as they would need to, because they dont want to see their upgrades break.

Soma's Upgrade System is way to harsh. Don't know if its been nerfed on here, but on esoma i remember succcess rate being a lot better than it is on here.

I've never understood why this isn't the case in the first place, would be a lot better if it was like this

Keep it the way it is, people already have +4 evasion and +3 accuracy.

Increase the drop/quest line/succeed rate for ToW/RDTs etc. make people go down the damage route.
