I understand mages have high damage but i have to agree you cant have 100-120 int vs a 225+ int then complain you get 1 banged, it is abit special.

"SHAILO"Let's reduce bow range by 3 as well please One of the most needed changes at the moment for all sorts of reasons, may give that tipping point balance of Mages having their range but if they allow an archer (or any melee char really) to get too close, they'll be locked out as per normal from fighting meaningfully. Would mean you probably need to do something about proc damage though? Just some kind of limitation or nerfing.

The idea of bow damage dropping over range was a good one but not sure if possible? A support spell to cure 5th would be good also be a good addition to the stone bang repeat pvp atm

I see your point Fox but my above suggestions were just a piss take to make these archers realise how ridiculous they sound.
They want everything for nothing, a nerf to mages but no nerf to archers to balance it. Wouldn't mind but the people complaining are in the alliance with the chars which have the most op gear in game. Ironic how the under geared players are the ones who are happy with the way things are.

Oh I know mate but there is a reality to that idea, joking or not :P I think everyones scared it would make people quit the game, when in reality it would make people go back to their preferred weapons in Hsoma and make people play their "alts" in dsoma. I find it crazy they claim to be under geared
But +1 for less bow range 😋 drop it to same range as proc's that way mages can cast but wont do the one bombs |

Wasn’t long ago that warriors had the upper hand and mages we’re getting banged left right and centre this was and still is due to the insane recoils. Should weapons be able to 3 or 4 hit per second because that’s what is capable of the recoil isn’t looked at and believe me when I say it won’t be long before +8 weapons all done with ss are roaming about. Should procs be looked at? Should they be limited to maybe just 1 or 2 being fired at once? Maybe time for a higher mage armour? Pots 150-200hp/mp? 5th axe overpowered or not? Feathers, should these be looked at? There range? How often they can be used? Staff speed? Should this be looked at?

If a melle char gets 5thed there’s always a chance of no proc and surviving. If a mage gets 5thed against a knux or even another +8 it’s guaranteed death

Melee killing in one hit? People need to stop being silly. Melee have high frequency sustained damage output via high speed low recoil weapons. People are comparing apples and pears. People essentially min/maxed their stats into the ground which I respect, but don’t have half the int of a mage then moan that they melt you fml. Have you seen what a 230 str capped geared character does to a 120 strength character?
