The whole "Get more int melle chars" argument is stupid

Mages need to train 2 stats int and either str or dex

Melle people needs str and dex and then int 3rd

Otherwise they will be useless

So a mage can rock 220 str vs a melle player but a melle cant rock 220 int vs a mage

Like i said i think new proc being able to hit all at once broke mages. Limit proc to 1 type per hit, add new MD armour and add 150hp pots will equal this out.

I am 97 int and have made gear to put myself at 190 min magic defence. And can withstand sometimes 3 mages that would previously "one hit me" in no gear at all. This is the same as the mages that have made fp gear to withstand archers better. You cant do no int and expect not to die. If I was 230str hitting someone with 120str.
I'd also be shocked if they didnt die quick 😂
Make adaptations to the character you want. Not reasons to nerf things that honestly doesnt need changing.
Maybe bigger pots yeah, but it doesnt solve the fact no int chara will be one banged still.

Hawk on the money, invalid points from Sub, as using a Melee weapon does in fact raise Str/Dex at the same time.

The get more int argument isn’t remotely stupid, but I’m done educating people on the other side about how to level and gear their char’s.

How is this equaling it out? You're asking for proc to be nerfed and more MD added with 150 HP pots. What you're asking here is make it harder for mages to PK mele chars with 100 / 120 int. This evens nothing out. All this while mages have to withstand machine guns bows which results in mages not being able to cast.

This entire issue is caused by not having a dex cap at a sensible amount. As it is, melee will always have to keep doing dex as others will do it, meaning to remain relevant dex will always be the lions share of a melee characters exp in any level cap increase. Cap dex, increase cap over time, and see warriors balance their stats.

Wouldn’t say melle have to keep doing dex, they just choose to. If they can’t hit the melle chars that have done high dex let a mage bang them, same way mages let the melle chars smash other mages 🤷🏼‍♂️. Can’t be a counter to everyone

I'm sick and tired of people wanting the best of both worlds.

At the end of the day the only way a mage can kill someone is to 1 bang them, otherwise its trying to get a second shot off whilst being hit with a dumb recoil bow..

Its proven time and time again, coordinated attacks at gvw means that mages can only get that one shot off.

No you dont need all 3 you have to make sacrifices. I dont have enough dex to pvp mellee chars but I got more int instead so I dont get banged by mages and still have enough dex to hit them 100% of the time.

It's down to choices....

Imo the problem with proc isn't the amount that goes out per cast , but the damage the proc does compared w/ spell being cast.

Like lightsword is like 22 power, but u can have dragon breath proc'ing at the same time like ?? It should b procs can only go off if they got the same or equal to power level, or just reduce proc damage.

Anyways its also funny 2 read mages complaining about the +8 weps out there stopping them from casting, acting as if they dont have 5th stone to counter it. Imo 5th stone should be removed and 3rd should be made the new 5th.

Feathers should be considerably higher weight , not 4 or 5 whatever they are atm. Maybe 20?

Pills of illusion should give more HP coz whats 10 really doing, 25 at least? Cheaper weaker alternative to fp/oe

If new proc ever released, it should start from 1% not 3%. So if u do get double proc its like yeah nice.

There isnt really a point in attempting to cap recoil on weapons coz people will just continue to resort to older weps e.g stinger/psycho. instead, if there are new weapons inc, something similar should be done like with dsoma. Add int or dex requirements for melee/mage weps.

You have a counter to being 1 banged by proc. They are called magic robes?
