Hello!
Just clarification needed with the new mobs coming in - are they for mage gains aswell as the str/dex change for the spear/sword/axe users? As in, if I kill those instead of punch WBM from level 70-75 to 100, will the stat gains be better for me than gargoyle shaman/drazil druids? As they are 0.5/0.6 INT per level. Thanks in advance

They have lower INT than DD so they will not give good stats for mages.
I have advised to add a new mage mob too. |

Yeah just wondered if the gains had been changed for the mob even though they had lower INT as Draz have very high INT but the gains are just so low and strange to be honest, having to punch from 70-100 essentially.
Thanks Ghost - I'll wait for that rather than go punch crazy.

Is it abit weird having 2 new melee mobs without an int mob considering wbm are 185 str and int mob 155 int, now its still 155 int mob with a 200 and 231 str mob, not that i myself want a int mob as im going the route to get more dex, but every other mage stops at around lvl 70 because of this and im sure making a new mob quickly ( i assume it doesnt take long ) would bring back a couple usercount mage wise atleast
If u compared a mage to a axer, axers hitting str cap at 87 or w/e , mages also hit the cap around this lvl if not less, im past the DD cap myself and not even close to level 90 yet so the only way for me to gain int is punch (atleast we have that i guess lol ) but then still the DD cap is 186 compared to wbms 216 Good job on fixing the axer/spear/sword problem but i think mages needed a new mob to progress aswell without punching :p

Indeed, think quite a few mages would return.

indeed, I also understand il need to punch, just as much as everyone else, however I refuse to have to punch from lvl 70~100 unless your going to give mages some items or spell to make this easyer (sorry monster) Attack buff spell (self only or higher % on self and lower on others) or access aimed at mages only
And its looking like even if a new int mob was added this doesn't help how slow GS and DD are, also will there be a int difference from someone whos punched 30lvls (70~100)to some one whos done pure int for them 30 lvls ? (understand there will be str/dex difference) Rehlina

perhaps GS/DD can be tweaked and the mages compensated somehow? Because yeah from leveling a STR character on dsoma too I got the crappy gains 95-105 str+ but then it improves however mage seems to stay the same and then forced to punch 70-100, not feasible really.
Yeah sorry Monster, I know you've done a ton of punching and kudos to you however 99% of the other mages have quit due to being forced into that and the INT gains being so bad. So to summarize: - New mob aimed at improving gains beyond 0.6ish? - GS/DD tweaked? - Can Fin create a mage and do the same he did for axe/spear/sword etc. and show the end game stats with the current setup? INT leveling not punching 70-100.

Punching is alot easier now with abyss access :D its just getting it at the moment thats the problem, but soon there will be spares being sold im sure, just need a new int mob similar to wbms str minimum in int and then atleast they should give more int than a punch level.
Azaz honestly gs are fine, its just ur on the slowdowns still, gains pick back upto 2.5-3 int per level there at high 60s-low 70s(just like hsoma is also around 1.0 a lvl after 60s with zero str/dex gains), its just a matter of a new mob to compete with wbm Pretty sure a new mob would req 120+ int minimum, probaly more so id get to lvl 70 on gs atleast first Punching is already WAY worth it so making it even easier isnt a good idea, im not just talking for mages either

"AZAZYEL" A new mob will not improve gains. At 95-110 int you are a such a lvl that the XP gains per lvl will not allow you to gain a lot of stats. Mages generally get a tad less stats than melee characters so it'll feel a bit more rough, but in the end it's the same. "AZAZYEL" This is in my eyes a different case - a case I'd put in the same subject as Gargoyle Fighters which could also use a change. "AZAZYEL" We could do with a mob that has about 10-20 int less than what mages would reach at lvl 100. A bit like how the new mob were made.

i ment if they want us to punch with no new int mob then they need to make punching easyer for mages seen as you have to do it from 70 onwards

I remember s0rc saying Gs have less exp per mob than hsoma nightmare, but give the same stats as they both have 145 int, not sure how big of a deal it is though as dsoma mages do have alot more MA at this stage to kill them quicker, would have to be looked into.

Trust me when u get to a certain stage punching its rediculously easy for the stats u gain, its just getting there that takes a huge amount of time for it to eventualy be worth it, nothing needs to be easier there, you can already get 5-31 attack from gear, the 4 abyss access + halloween boots, can even be more if tagged.

We shouldn't have to punch though - I understand there's a certain element of punching in dsoma but 30 levels worth?
I'm absolutely fine with the 95-110 or so slow, I'm used to this leveling a str dsoma char that isn't the issue - I'm simply trying to keep myself (and others) quitting dsoma in the near future because I'm forced down one path. Appreciate you've done your fair share of punching Monster but just doesn't seem to the way forward to me.
