punching imo is also not the way to go, but there must be something wrong with it for not many to follow what you have done monster

id like a new int mob added, but with the gains iv seen monster getting, seems impossible that you would end with more int at cap than monster

This is because of my level -_- get lvl 80+ and do a lvl on a new int mob when it finaly comes and then complain if its bad, 70+ is only the start of getting some gains for every class, like archers gaining 6 dex at high 80-90s its no different.

The hours monster has put in to get his current build is insane. Anyone who's put those kinda hours in deserves it.

A tweak to a mage mob or a new Mage mob should be added so that Mage levelling is viable however punching as monster has done should always come off a much stronger build str/dex wise due to the time involved.

bah deleted my reply rofl.

I agree with the above, if you want to do it the Monster way then I'm absolutely fine with that, he's put in the hours and such should be rewarded for doing so.. But there should be an alternative method to leveling, which I'm glad we're all on the same page for.

the level cap is there for a reason tho

so saying if some one puts in 1000 more hours they should have better stats just annoys the heck out of me, yes monster has put in a lot of work and should defently have more str/dex/hp than someone who hasn't punched, but by no means should he have similar int

Why not? If he has put in 1000+++ more hours than a mage who has just inted then obviously Monster should have better stats. Punching makes the perfect character which takes A LOT more investment.

:)

Punching has balanced stats, which means ur str will stay under the slowdowns for much longer ( The mob str slowdowns ) and as ur stats stay under the slowdowns longer this means every other stat will be gaining the full 1.3x stat gains on that mob for a much longer time then sword or any weps that give even higher str, its just common sense to punch at the right times and u will benefit heaps from it.

The reason why my stats are nice is because i simply did the insane and went to wbm as early as i could bare punching for 0.50% a HOUR on rested (yes that was some 200 hours levels on rested) because i knew what i could achieve, this was way back at 110-115 str now that i have gotten through the rough patch of incredibly slow % im starting to see much quicker results as i have some str now, if u can survive doing 0.50% a hour on rested for multiple lvls then surely it should pay off

Archers/knucks benefit alot , staying under that first/second str slowdown on wbm for longer to gain more dex while at the 1.3x stats

As soon as i hit slowdowns my gains will drop alot, infact they already did a few lvls ago by 1.0+ in each just from one of the slowdowns and theres more to come

Gotta remember punching is the EXACT same for every single class, anyone can do what i am, its just a matter of someone doing the insane aswell

With the new mobs having no slowdowns ect and always being 1.0x stats it will be incredibly helpful to the str classes and was a good idea so there other stats will be gaining nice amounts for a longer time rather than just str after the slowdowns

As to punching though for mage, This isn't news or new. Dsoma mage always been cap int then punch past cap getting as much str as possible and int increases beyond cap.

Yes new higher better mobs will always be welcomed.

Anyone ever thought of making Dsoma mage staff as melee weapon start to grant stats?

It was talked about by ghost but doesnt fix anything todo with a mage not being able to use int, so wouldnt be added, as punching is already there for other stats

Im pretty sure its intended for it to be an incredibly slow process for a mage to get high str/dex just alike it is a melee to get high int, need to put the effort in because this server doesnt look like its going anywhere anytime soon.

Nothing against monster but putting an int mob, i guess by 95 he will have near 130/140 dex? Meaning most humans even with accuracy will have pretty low hit rate and with new int mobs probably 200+int = unkillable, deserved by amount of hours put in or whatever, but unkillable at wow (Which he pretty much near is already)

Putting a new int mob only mean devils % at war would go down (Since no one can kill monster) and other devils would be back to the same old problem.

You need to realise if ANY class did the same as i did they would be tanky i take insane dmg from certain peoples melee its just whole of hsoma uses int (lol), punching is the same for every class this is not a mage problem

Yes i said well deserved to you, not your fault, other class can punch too but not going to get to 200 int as most hsoma uses int as you said.

You cant help it that the way the game is designed is against more mobs for mages will be detrimental to wow

If they did int on new mobs they wouldnt have as high str.. there weakness, and a melee can reach 200 int , punchign wbm is better int than any int mob ingame atm.
