Last time I asked Finito about this he had a LOT of pre-work to do for it to even be possible.

How about people linking the items that they are bidding with.
That way you can only fake bid of you actually have the item to link.

i remember on esoma (devils) having a auction guy in guild village.
But you could only put a quicksale price on the item. I like the idea of a auction but should do it that you have to drop off your barr and pick it back up if you get outbid. oh and a 5% server tax :P

You have to put a bid deposit down in real life for £500 at most auctions, do same here. Say you have to put 300k down, if you win something for 100k you get 150k back after commission..
