Banning a legit player for a clicker is idiotic to say the least.

GM has stated before that clicker is legal as long as the person isn't AFK

Modified clients? Do what the big companies have done...the server has to verify that the user is using the proper client before they can even login.
Late to this thread because I stopped playing after I saw people hunting with modified clients. I would never be able to catch up to these people.

Could you eleborate on what an edited client allows a player to do? Are we talking fast cast or high damage? Both? Not for the first time i've seen someone training int like this today and they wouldn't allow me to be anywhere near them while they hunted.

Lordly by any chance? Yea that's disintegrate I recon as when he came to kill me he found that he couldn't and then disintegrate came 1+1= same person. Super fast casting even after the "buff" everyone got. Cheats and lonely sad people who feel it's their responsibility to kill everything and everyone for their own sad little kicks. Don't bother logging.

Yes Oblique. Interesting that you name those two as they displayed the exact same behaviour except I encountered them a year apart. Disintegrate was the same wouldn't allow you to watch him level. I don't mind getting one hit unweakened and at 225 Int, wearing full mage gear, but the player doing so needs to be legit.

@Memory I share your feelings. I can accept not being competitive and getting dropped all day long by honest players. All credit to the guy/gals who put long hours into the game, make strong chars and nice gear, that's what it's all about. Cheaters, especially in a time = win game leave a real bad taste in the mouth.

The problem is client hackers have gone mostly unpunished for as long as I can remember, I guess that encouraged/enabled all the other cheaters and now it sounds as if the problem is totally out of control.

It was probably the biggest factor in me quitting too.

Genuinely don't know how Disintegrate has not been banned yet. Everytime a fix comes in for fast casting his fast casting just gets faster. It's actually hilarious.
