Mates the think you dont get about this wep is that the one who has it can use for him until the end with one ss or 2 toe this is an a speed wep and we talk about spear....and its not test server!
Second of all with this spear you can level up str fast since you can play with it to almost all mobs when you gain the required skill and stats and its really low what it needs.....so its a fast way to get the str needed....! For sure a legend from gorshak will be better since we are talking about other requirements way higher....i hope someone gets a better than this....but since its the first....enjoy the moment and the chance of possibility it opened this spear!

Diablo is annoying because you have the normal leggies with x random affixes (both crafted and dropped - as far as a player can see they are exactly the same) and there's the leggies with the special stats. Skill modifiers etc. The problem with legendaries here, is that it's a mutation of an existing weapon with alterations to the stats. Nothing new is added (at this point in time). If we would add special abilities like this it'd most likely be on a tier of weapons rather than just one tag. So in the end the difference is that diablo focusses on items tier to define it's uniqueness whereas Soma focusses on the item itself, with the chance of a tag. So the question is - how can we add uniqueness / coolness factor to legendaries without changing the basic of the item? It'll be a tough call. Also I'm not excluding any extra stats on legendaries, I'm just not expecting it. As for the off topic discussion I don't see how crafted and dropped items are different in diablo. But who cares really, soma is cool and diablo is meh. I personally can't think of a better comparisson from other games either.

Something that reflects the rarity, people are forgetting how long exactly it has taken for a Legendary item to appear. You guys think it's a lot different and that's your opinion, I respect that, but I think differently is all. Magic Available is something that could be as standard on a Legendary weapon, without the need for a tag for example. I thought a Legendary would stand out with unique additional attributes, far separating them with items from other tiers specifically when it comes to weapons.

Craftables are a different class of item and have a different range of possible stats/attributes, I also couldn't draw any comparison with them because there isn't currently a craftable in Soma for me to compare it to. I guess I shouldn't have used Diablo at all in hindsight.[/quote]

Let's face it, all upgraded weapons are speed+.
Give legendary weapons a built in upgrade of something different. Examples; - legendary bow with built in 3% accuracy - legendary nux with built in 3% evasion Can also use critical hit like the new pills, or built in % on hit to slow, zombie etc. This would be on top of the standard attack buff for legend tag.

Legendaries don't need any random buffs, we've had one mid level spear drop. Wait until there's a top end weapon drop and see what that's like. If they were given 3% acc/eva/slow etc on top of their already increased stats then people would just moan about how overpowered they are.

Legendary is fine as is.
As stated earlier. System is in place so once one drops they start dropping more. Trust me when you've seen a Legendary Gorshak weapon you wouldn't be asking for further buffs. |

Sword - 5% chance of 5th
Axe - 5% chance of 5th
Spear - 5% chance of 5th
Knuckle - 5% chance of 5th
Bow - 5% chance of 4th
Staff - 5% chance of casting dragon breath.
These will cast regardless of skill.

good idea for an end game weapon but, no point wasting it on the weapons in game atm it would just make it hard for gms to add more upgrades to the next tier of weapons that will be introduced
not sure about hsoma but could add it to a set of armour for devils ( like a 175str hero set ) with boots having 2% chance of 4th aura instead of the halloween attack boots and the top accuracy helm str pads dex? Edit: obviously would have to think of an alternative boots for mages! Maybe 4% chance of double casting selected spell etc?
