It's decent, I'm not saying it isn't. It's just not as expected for it's level of rarity. It is 1~4 att better than the T-bolt LORDCOOS posted and is 84 recoil faster. I always expected the Legendary to have extraordinary stats, distinctly setting themselves apart from the other rarity tiers. Sort of like a Legendary item in Diablo for example.

Because the attack of the basic spear isn't too great, the % increase won't be very good. Wait until you see a gorshak or pamoth legendary weapon ;]

You could be right and rumour has it more will drop now, but we'll soon see. Maybe someone will get a nice Christmas present from Gorshak or Pamoth?

you cannot compare legendary items of diablo with soma simply because they soo freaking easy to obtain and most of em are trash.

Yes, because a crafted legendary with 6 random prefixed instead of 5 on a yellow one is so special.

Screw Diablo this is much cooler!

I thought you guys might miss the point and considered not using that example. The point is how different the tiers are in terms of their stats (I'm not comparing craftables GHOSTLORD). Repeating myself here, but I just thought that once we finally saw one, it would be a lot different than an Intense is all. Separate.

Why cant you see that is IS?!?!

its so much faster and Higher ATT - for a spear user at the right Stats where it is a beneficial weapon then this thing is something else completly!!

If it was a TOP tier weapon, I dont think you would be so upset and more like "OMG WTF THATS AMAZING"

But KING, it is a lot different to an intense T-Bolt spear.

The spear that Coos linked is an -M tag, so if that legendary T-bolt spear were to be -M tag it would be an even bigger difference.

Its like saying "Oh that legendary training spear is only just as good as that untag ruby spear, I thought legendary would be totally different"

They are already 2 different teirs of weapons.

It is as different as comparing a normal weapon to a hardened weapon. Just more rare and better stats. Btw craftables and droppables are basically the same in Diablo, including their general boringness... I don't get the comparisson to be honest. The only actual difference between this and diablo is the amount of prefixes available and the fact that they can differ per item, even their they use set ranges, just like us.

What other uniqueness or specialty would you expect on a legendary item?

Btw, i feel my string of posts seem to have a negative tone. This isn't my intention.

*edit*
Also remember -M have the same stats as the old -O tags. This means their percentual increase from tags is also higher.

Just a idea for future taggs maybe we could have them come up with upgrades on?

Sword - 5% chance of 5th
Axe - 5% chance of 5th
Spear - 5% chance of 5th
Knuckle - 5% chance of 5th
Bow - 5% chance of 4th
Staff - 5% chance of casting dragon breath.

These will cast regardless of skill.

surely the % would have to change to reflect the attack speed if this option was taken futher?

Legendary has 50% on basic. Which when taken into account with skill bonus needs nothing else imo ;o

"GHOSTLORD"What other uniqueness or specialty would you expect on a legendary item?

Something that reflects the rarity, people are forgetting how long exactly it has taken for a Legendary item to appear. You guys think it's a lot different and that's your opinion, I respect that, but I think differently is all. Magic Available is something that could be as standard on a Legendary weapon, without the need for a tag for example. I thought a Legendary would stand out with unique additional attributes, far separating them with items from other tiers specifically when it comes to weapons.

"GHOSTLORD"Btw craftables and droppables are basically the same in Diablo, including their general boringness... I don't get the comparisson to be honest.

Craftables are a different class of item and have a different range of possible stats/attributes, I also couldn't draw any comparison with them because there isn't currently a craftable in Soma for me to compare it to. I guess I shouldn't have used Diablo at all in hindsight.
