The amount of dsoma archers is nauseating.

If it helps though,
slowest leveling(overall),
lowest potential dps,
low str,
lowest true weapon dura.
and
low low low drop rates on weps.


Dex and sniping noobs since 2001, thats where most of the hate comes from, as an archer you wont kill anything close to your level 1on1, Other classes have the potential too...

They are also the slowest levellers at late-game. At this stage, while other classes are playing catch up in regards to dex, archers have a higher hit % and thus level up "faster."

Their STR gains are abysmal at late-game, also.

I do agree that they are easy mode for the vast majority of early-mid game, though. But the disadvantages of late-game make up for it (plus 5th aura lol)

I think one thing you're all forgetting is, you cannot grieff level on here, and if you tryed too, you'de lose all your int/wis making yourself unable to hunt WBM.

Alot of people are comparing this server to the test server.

In reality, an axe user is the only sure char to possible reach the strength cap before level 100 on this server.

Archers do not gain the most strength, they do however gain a higher con to str ratio giving them more levels to gain con, but again the level cap is 100 so they wont be gaining huge amounts more than anyone else.

An axer at level 100 will instantly be gaining another 35+ defence from perfect defence and a sheild (Yes i agree when hunting ect 4th axe will be used but for situations such as holding a stone this extra's are invaluble)

Untill we see a level 100 in every class its going to be difficult to see how much of a balance issue there is between Dsoma classes. But obiously axe vs bow is the biggest issue, i think other classes are quite well balanced.

To summerise:

Even as a non axe user but experience from playing concuss, I think 4th axe should go back to normal, a possible skill attack boost given to axers and 5th axe is an amazing aura aswell, making everyone else cry "unfair using 5th"

Bow is a tough one and a lot of good argument have been thrown in and out. For now I think we'll have to observe to see what happens with their stats (personally I don't think i see more archers than on the test server, but i could be wrong). For me their biggest problem is possibly their CON gains, it baffles me that a ranger could be a tank. But this is how soma was made in the old days.

Also if everyone rolls archer and it doesn't turn out as pretty as everyone seem to think due to argument X a lot of peeople will re-roll. On top of that the economy will turn out in favour of other classes too. Either way I enjoy reading your discussions, please continue. :D

Personally I choose archer class because I was fed up been a sword user, yes my main was Sword all the way through Esoma and some of this server too so this for me is a refreshing change and that mixed with playing Dsoma for the first time has made the game interesting again for me

depends serums and 100s are usefull for every1 feathers just 2 classes basicly and a feather > serums+100s

dont get it was kinda fixed on the test server why not implement it here?

anyway ppl play what they want to play

Cry more because doom getting it handed to them naik serves them right for what they have done in the past and will only get worse, people saying mages are op, im higher lvl than u all, u dont have a dmg cap so we dont either, keep useless comments to urself adding weight to feathers n serums would only make u guys even worse off as feathers dont work in gvw also

i dont really give a shit like i said it aint gonna be changed. im just saying why every1 is making and archer .

didnt ask for a dmg cap being added either just ur hp being calced the old way. I hate the con change too if that helps

Don't make claims that aren't true about what will happen and what not. Serums and feathers are on the to do list. On the test server serums and feathers were w8 which in my opinion is slightly too high for here. Also note that the cap on stacks is new and wasn't on the test server.

The spell cap cannot be changed unless we can make a seperate spell cap for hsoma and dsoma.
