Simply upgrading BLG isn't an option. How would you move on from Shanis to BLG? Bij magically jumping 20 str? It's not that easy. That said, making a new mob doesn't take long. We would however, would need approximately 4 mobs per race, 2 STR and 2 INT. Along with drops and new stuff (lvl cap increase warrants new stuff).
DSoma also has issues with armor drops and a lot of people still could find a way better weapon than they have now. New stuff sounds nice and all but it'd be a shame to 'waste' existing content.
There's another way to look at it - the farming mobs can be used to maximise the use of current content. Just think of how many dsoma upgrades are actually used.

HSoma drop list is done. I'm glad to say we have more than 70 unique drops spread out over the mobs.

"RAVER" Multi drops can always happen. Technically every drop a mob has can drop at the same time. It's just RNG. If by multi drop you mean two times the same item, then no. I doubt drops will be free for all. But I will think about it. Generally even HSoma will have to share. A group hunt won't work well if you're greedy. So part of this is up to the community even with (or maybe especially with) free for all drops.
