From this WBM have been made 25% faster to level on.

Whelps search range has been decreased.

Molten Magus now drop large MP pots too.

Also Crimson Apai Barr has been increased.

WBM even faster even though they're the fastest mob to level on in game and no changes to hog/apai xp which is dire 0.0?

All you had to do was ask?

Crimson Apai and demented hog have been made significantly faster in next reboot. Now go recruit some dsoma players.

Ty, it's been mentioned a fair amount on the ideas sections but mostly whilst you were away. I pm'd Finito about it in March explaining why Hogs and Apai giving such low xp was a terrible idea, and was told that it wouldn't be changed.

Would it be possible to have CT and small dias added to the drop list of another palus/df spawn? The best place to farm dias is now difficult to hunt at because of the the new mobs and there aren't any other real farming spots for dias.

"CARNAGE"For teamwork you actually need a team, the slight issue here is dsoma isn't the most active of places especially those qualified to actually hunt these things.

Also to touch on the point ceo made, how close combat characters deal with the whelps needs to be looked into if I run into more than one it's -25k. I struggle to even deal with one.


+1 and seen as dsoma class's are mainly melee

main issue for dsoma is most ppl stoped at wbm stage( myself included) , once the exp starts to slow and I'm only getting 10% on my day off, it starts becoming a boar, I can ignore the exp if theres something to aim for, the quest for 1000 wbm kills helped, but that's finish, drops are far between

as for the new mobs, there to far off for me, just getting to them the whelps killed me twice

as for my mage, you cant just watch tv with a mage, so I feel the exp slowdown even more, Mana pot prices per MP is silly, so u end up with medium mp pots, which u then have to pot 15 times to fill mp


couldn't agree more, i quit when hitting wbm, but that was mainly as my laptop would run 2 clients at the same time and i didnt like the fact you needed a pocket healer to hunt effectively, i get 99% of people did it with a healer but just didnt seem to fit with the game. Must say after about 7 months away i logged in for about an hour today and actually hunted a bit. all after hearing about the new patch.

Also magma beast for dsoma have had their int lowered a little.

I think the int should be lowered by atleast 100, with int this high a capped mage does less damage than a lvl 80-85 melee class.

The values have been based on capped level 100 characters. Yes there will be edge cases but at the moment we're trying out this value.

The new upgrades are a great Idea but as it stands there not as good as a CT and they will be alot more rarer. These need changing to +3 or +4 or what ever colour magic attack they specify for.

Please. The area to the far east of vod is already littered with palus, add some DF nearby and jobs a good un'

From past experience kharil lizards are so much slower then wbm could these get a look at??
