This is actually working, through all the lack of actually reading it's twigged enough interest it may get looked at.
The only flaws in your above suggestion sorc are, doubling shiro hp won't help anyone get to it before it's dead. Doubling tire's hp still won't mean melee get a score, could do with another 50 MD as well to even it out. Lower Kelvar md by 80 if this serves a small purpose of balance. Doubling dio's hp would only work if dex stayed the same as is because evil and gene will trace and kill it in seconds with a lift on high dex. Keep dio the same and double hp. Insane pamoth could do with +50 md. I estimate he has 400 defence with mine and slayers time spent. For the type of boss he could do with another 10-20k hp. If bosses cap at 80% Eva which I didn't know about then this probably needs to stay. I used over 4k dura of spears on pammy (slay used 10k) which I attribute over 2k uses of 2nd so figured he had about 95% Eva on me for normal hits. This is theory craft and not fact obviously just how it appeared. I would say the most evident change for bosses is to revise their locations that guild trace Helps get the guild there sooner but doesn't make it so game breaking. Troll and golem probably still a bit far, one of those at least could be closer to town. Dio and shiro... Make dungeon != trace and move dio to cliffs in middle. I know coven don't use a trace char for all of these bosses but the triple or quadruple logged capped characters does make it extremely op to trace on top of.

Could always make the guard shout a few mins before they spawn
Guard : <<<Shironim is breaking though the portal>>> this would give ppl a chance to run with out altering the mobs hp Think lvl 80 is to low to be complaining about the mobs defensive dex or expecting to get last hit on a boss over someone 20 lvls higher

Didn't read all the arguing, but i can speak for the only other guild that played dsoma and yes they quit because axe/mage combo is broken

I like your idea, it works, I think that would be a fantastic addition. however, if you read the whole thread, or even any single one of my replies, here it is again. "i don't want loot, I want the boss to be alive by the time I got there" never stated I wanted loot, not once. "i don't care about def dex, I'm spear" if people actually read the issue "BOSSES ARE DEAD BEFORE YOU CAN GET TO THEM ITS USUALLY MAGES THAT GET THESE KILLS" this would a) prevent repetition b) thread looking like shit.

While sort of on the topics - being about bosses - are there any that are worthwhile drops around lv50 that a lv50 char would stand a chance of killing? i don't mean through speed of others killing before so much as not getting my ass owned by them?
and laz etc. with other coven members have been nothing but helpful having loaned me decent tagged armour/axes throughout my leveling that have helped a hell of a lot that i can only assume some of these have come from said bosses? i'm unsure why dsoma gets a bad reputation for being unhelpful because everyone i have come across have been more than helpful on equipment and leveling advice

Probably the best low level bosses are Darian Queen for the slow earring (south IC) and Toxic Raro inside the Hwan castle which can drop eggs (like an eggpile).
Neo you do get to them before they die. (Exception of Shironim) |

i was often at shiro before laz, just sat for 20 mins to get timing right lol. nothing is impossible if u work out when to goto certain places.

"NEOXIAN"my goodness, jaheira is joining the "i cant read club" so I haven't read any of your replies that I didn't suggest something to give u chance to get to the boss before it spawns never mind before it dies ??? and why would u even start this thread if u don't care about the boss's loot ? what reason is there for going to any of the boss mobs other than there loot ?? there's no achievements for going or attending I do agree that some die to fast, I don't think this is down to mages dmg, more the fact that they don't miss any hits(+ the Procs fire rate), also a reason they get most of the drops as all other class's have a chance to miss, however u lower mobs def dex and then knucklers just get all the loot as they have the fastest weap some of the boss's do need tweaking, few that need to be more int friendly, others that have way to much dex theres also boss mobs that's aimed towards lower levels even if there loot is wanted by the lvl 100's also, so increasing there hp just locks the lower levels out, even if its the higher lvls that more than likely killing them more so there's no easy quick fix, a warning before they spawn lets u get there to be involved (for the hole of a couple of min before it dies ) and doesn't take away guild villages only reason for having
