No need for any cap increase any time soon, 80% of people at cap at pilots or multis so no point until average player / char gets to cap or close

You realise server is 2+ years old, how long does the average player need 5 years mate?

So what? If the average player needs 5 years then so be it.

If soma wants to last long term it needs to cater to the average player which is probably 90% of the playerbase.

Not sure what server you've been playing but I'd actually argue that there are as many capped players as there are these 2 year average players, don't see the need to slow progression until everyone and thier dog finally hits level 100.

Still mid 60's after 2 years either;

A) Don't care about capping in the first place which is fair enough, not everyone can cap.
B) Simply need to pull thier finger out.

ppl with lives have shit to do and take care of, it takes far too long just to get strong enough just to take part in most of the game already, you want to make it even worse?

The only reason most of these ppl are capped is because they use bots, pilots or multi. I reckon only a handful actually did it legit.

Don't see how it would make it worse. Not if the new mobs and content are on new maps it would clear the capped chars away from spawns that people use and make it easier for them to hunt . It would also mean that up in till level 80 you would be safe from capped chars . If the cap raised to 110 for example

Also means that when a casual actually finally hits lvl 100 and thinks they have a chance to actually take part in the game they get completely owned and told they need to "pull their finger out" and reach 120 or whatever now, still not being able to take part in the game.

love to see any casual player hit lvl 100 even as it is without cheating, nevermind more

gotta admit, no other game forces you to sit there clicking as much as soma, for so long just to actually take part in the very few things you can do in soma

Probably be playing the game by themselves at that point due to everyone else moving on because they're bored. Already more than enough logging in once a week or less.

Yes I would like to see soma last but when players have nothing to do they get bored and stop playing.

Doing a little math it takes around 2000 to 2500 hours to cap a human. (Can be done in alot less) server has been up over 2 years but I'll say 2 years for the sake of it. 730 days 2000 ÷ 730... 2.7 hours a day roughly to cap a human. It's been over 2 years so the number is even lower
