Level cap rise

Author Content Date
Ok, my honest opinion as a guy who's played from the start and never made it past lvl 77... mainly through boredom could i cap if i wanted yer pretty easily i just get bored of the grind... however i disagree with the grinding for 2 years to join in with wars, the problem most soma players have is their greed you do not have to kill people to have "fun" i go to gvw every week unless i'm working or busy and i guarantee i get far more satisfaction from weakening targets and securing a kill for my guild/race same goes for slowing.

My biggest damage dealer in guild is for example a mage and he's being slammed by someone with a bow i drop a slow on them and my damage dealer is far more "relevant" again, nobody notices it from an outside point but i know aswell as my guild knows i am still a number they can utilize and im not just cannon fodder wasting barr on pots.

We do plan to raise the lvl cap. We just need to do it properly by making the proper preperations.

Of course we will also work on other content.

When there actually is some information about this, you guys will know.

Good on you man for hanging in there. But have you thought about what its going to be like when you start facing lvl 120s too?

Unless there are big increases in lower lvl rates it will be a nightmare for anyone new to even considering investing their time in Soma, it already is painful to play.

"INVISIBLEMAN"increases rates for under lvl 100 if the cap is increased. that makes a lot more sense. Make it super slow at lvl 100+ tho

This is what I have always said... the cap should be raised more often but lvling say 100-105 should be unrested. Then speed up all the leveling 0-100 even more

The speed rested is generated is being doubled.

This is the wrong way for the gms to tackle this as casuals will not get out of rested anyway when the reach the later levels. Change it to free rested untill lvl 80. Increase mob lvling speeds again. Increase cap with 0 rested.

"WAKKAA"We play this game for the way it is, the levelling/stat system etc. If people want skill trees and talents then you're playing the wrong game lol

A cap raise for the longevity of the server will eventually be needed at some point, even a stats upon levelling system similar to dsoma after would make sense '.8 Dex 1.6 str 1.5 isn't' or whatever so the high dex stay dexterous and so on.

X

I think this is right. I think 100+ should be for the real hardcores, it should be slow slow gains but meaningful gains. Like going from 100-120 is like doing 0-100 all over again and anyone pre lvl 100 gets a nice bump to close the gap. That way being strong is easier to be defined and you get that "Wow" factor when you see a lvl 120 eventually. I'd like to see more than just str/dex/int grinding though in this 100-120 gap. There has to be more ways to increase the diversity of the game. We need something more than just str/dex/int training.

People who play for 6 months should be able to do a little dmg to capped players to make wars interesting, but then being 120 you'll still be a boss.

I understand players do a min damage to anyone regarding levels/stats. I believe this was set to 4hp min?

Would be interesting when they raise cap to have a party more integrated, if party leader has more axe skill then whole party gets def buff, if leader is bow evasion/accuracy buff, if leader is knuckle a %in gain buff ect.

There is still a lot this game can do.

We do need a level cap raise i would hate to hit 100 and have little to do. Although i like the quests we have i can appreciate the hard work the owners put in to add content but a level cap would be nice at 200. I think only problem we have is DEX >.< but there are ways around it.
