Is the problem with stat bonus rate to do with characters that have low str and high dex leveling on monsters with high str?
"ACAELUS"Would be great to get a update The update is that there is no update because still not worked out what will be done for hsoma. "MATTHEW"one point i would make, which im sure has been thought of is to make new mobs only give stats at lvl 101+ so that people who capped early arent losing out massively. If thats possible. Why exactly would they be losing out?

would be good for the new hsoma mobs to have relatively low defence dex but highish attack dex since there are characters that stopped dexing at around 80 dex to get the most str and int possible.
Could make it so it has the same hitrate on you regardless of dex/eva so people cant get 99% eva on them but people who chose the dex/str route have a chance at hunting them effectively.

"FINITO" Anyone who has capped a monster has 'wasted' a lot more experience than a new character would. Utilising monster bonuses for leveling and not receiving monster penalties for longer would create a very different character especially if a low str dex build is created with new monsters available.

Dsoma already has 2 monsters with no bonus stage, adding this to hsoma would stop ppl from benefiting from new monsters

HSoma with Flesh Guardian equipped. As can see there not any room for the "+" so
either going to remove the "+" or remove Age, Gender, Known As and make the Stat areas bigger.

Post if got a better idea on how to show the + stat from equipment.
Also thinking about doing the same with HP, MP, etc.

"ACAELUS""FLICKTHEBEAN""FINITO" any news or ideas about this dilemma? Basically.. if under 101 levs can gain stats from any new higher lev mobs..we all gona have to make new characters for max stats gains ( i think)

"LUPISCUS""ACAELUS""FLICKTHEBEAN""FINITO" There isn't a issue here New mobs will start at 171 str and 176 int (both current caps ) They won't give bonus stats so no reason starting the mobs early (this is how the new devil soma mobs work currently)

and gaining dex?
like ppl now with 80-90 dex hi str and hi int cant realistically gain dex in sensible % hows that gona work? or indeed more common.. someone with 100-110 dex and str cap cant gain dex in sensible % .. so must be fixed amounts of % for dex gains, regardless of current str in the new levels? mayb otherwise hi str ppl cant gain much more dex

"ISYLVER"Very likely that we will either: Dex solution hopfuly making it, its own stat keeping it to the same rates it is, just not str dependant

Very likely that we will either:
A) Make dex gainable at the same rate past level 100 regardless of str deficit
Or
B) make it its very own stat which acts more on a per hit basis like con.
ah, missed that .. sounds ok then ;)
Just 1 more question then.. can a under lev 100 gain stats on new mobs? str/ dex or int? |

Someone under level 100 could hunt them as a alternative once they past BLG 120 STR or NM 125 INT as they would be same rates on the new mob if they was to stay on BLG or NM (oversly a new mobs with 171 str /176 int would hurt like hell at that point)
hunting the new mobs before 120 str or 125 int would put them at a loss as the new mob wouldn't give any bonus stats which BLG / NM do upto there current str/int

I would suggest posting HSoma related questions in the hsoma cap raise topic.
As for the answer itself, I can't tell what I don't know.
And how would you go about sorting out human wasted % ?
Do humans want the same system that DSOMA is getting ? Is there another way of making all humans have the same stat total by lvl 100 other than the same system as dsoma ? |
