DSoma stat change feedback

I figure it will be most helpful for GMs to have all feedback on this change in 1 place.

I will be creating a char from scratch on test server to see how this change affects low-mid levels also as I guess this might be a bit that is missed out with mostly endgame related concerns.

Main issues/queries:

Can't seem to cap stats? lvl 100 bow goes to 190/210 but cannot add more
Characters in mid levels will have to re-purchase all items
Vanadium armor reqs still the same everything else has been upped

great idea, rates are x6, so hopfully thats x12 with rested

Currently cannot allocate all available points, not sure if bug

str/con stuc at 194/217 dex stuck at 146/163

Ye same issue, anyone have spare low lvl bows and armour I cant use supreme or the bows ive used for years now. Also I have 10 less int even maxed than I did before lol.

looks like this is due to the limit your aloud for your lvl, (would be nice for this to display and not just the caped rates)

rates are x6 on test

I think main issue here is for non-capped chars we cannot use any of our gear that we would normally use - so difficult to test effectively. Also vanadium armor has stats not changed so is currently easiest to use.

ye this is a pain, however the loss of your armor/weaps is made up by the extrea str/con surly

the new requirements for invul, and top tier weapons in Dsoma seem very nice, and at lv 80+ still can use them

Yes it seems so it's more in terms of ppl being able to meaninfully test the server as many will have to re-hunt for dread/sup etc.

Looking at my character with no int, MP could be a small issue as int is no longer required for melee chars but max mp seems very low.

Any ideas to bumb mage def ? As now i get 120 int 180 wis (i didnt cap out int and wis to spend in str/con) 108 str (to use hardening armour) 100 con and 100 dex (wich i wouldnt need if magic wasnt interruptable).
I think mages need a lot more love as i think they are being forgotten atm.

This could also be fixed by upping the normal defence of magic robes to maybe resemble a mid level str armour such as demonic. That would free up all your points not needed for strength to stack into con and dex :)

If your Mage can 2 bang every mellee char and an aura for un-interrupted casting I'm unsure why it needs a bump?

Has any thought been put into rvr? I see no way of devs ever holding it again, all mellee chars will essentially have 0 md or very little and now that robes have been moved way out of reach (diab actually unattainable even if you did have the points to waste for a lot of mellee chars)?
