Wilst your about finito any chance for a update on the dsoma stats , are we staying at 7 points per lvl/stat caps/armor requrments staying or lowered ?

Points per level up is going to changed (to differ between lower and higher levels).
Stat guides were removed.
Stat requirements on items (armors significantly, others where needed due to points per level changing) are going to be reduced.

Think stat guides need to be back in to force ppl to spend stats on wis or devils wont be able to compete in RvR

As each class will cap str/dex/con only

Could possible lower the max str we get also, current axer is 280, could bring this down to help with RvR balance and force to spend more int/wis (scale each class acording to current)

Would also help with us 2/3 hitting each other at current)

This could work but we will need to find a way to force people to send points on wis this will then lower other stats. For better rvr we need higher wis lower str+con/dex if people ignore this then they will get owned at wow and moan.

Maybe forcing points to be used on wis at level up can help this.

If from 0-100 you took 1 point on one level and 2 points on another all the way to 100 and forced it on wis we would have 150wis, going by 700points to be used that leaves 550 to share on all other stats 230str 200con 120dex

I'm not sure what total points are I was going off 7 a level. If people then wanted more MD they could.

I understand it's all going to stat points

But can someone clarify why we need to reinvent the wheel?

The str bonuses at the moment and punching to manage stats seems the most logical way

More time spent on char = better char
Less time spent on char = weaker char

Where is the problem? ;o

The problem is
devil 2 hit humans with melle
Humans 2 hit devils with magic.

Giving people points they don't need to punch for int/wis.

Why should someone who can spare 2500hours to punch be better then someone who spends 1100 hours cap?

You literally said the exact reason why to your own question

Because they have 2500hours to spare and the other someone doesn't....

Infact, it's not even a matter of 2500hours 'spare', as the person who caps in 1100 hours will eventually get to 2.5k hours too

Some mad hours you summed up there too, my dsoma archer is like lvl 95 and is under 1k hours and has good stats from punching.... ;/

Can bet it won't take me another 1,650 hours to hit lvl 100 punching either

Personally, punching is not as bad as people make out to be

For example, people moan about 30 con on hsoma as well, it's not that they haven't got the time in most cases, it's more the fact they can't be bothered which in my eyes makes it more than fair game for someone who can be bothered to do it, end up with cleaner stats.


Also the 2 hit dev/human comment, the % being assigned to the Attk/MA is a much better idea to create a fairer RvR situation as opposed to the current system which is a % of your stats I believe

The RVR system will not be looked at in this patch because we'd rather aim for an internal balance first.

If wis is forced on devils to have minimum md and with attack naturally dropping the rvr % should equal its self out imo.
