only my 2nd SS, but it seemed when 4-5 humans turned up in the last part they were pretty unkillable for the devs who were there, so seems hard to believe humans are "useless"

maybe try make some dynamic scaling %, which counts how many players of each race are there and scale stats accordingly. eg. if theres 5humans v 20devils, devils stats are scaled down and visa versa.

just an idea, but last 30mins or so was great fun, shame the first was a washout

Stop crying It has nothing to do with the forces at all.It has always been like this and there were days when I could not stand there more than a minute. On the contrary, you are the one who raises upg's and we are nothing. So please stop talking and start doing better. Not every thread on forum human' should get something been years on dsoma we not even have town for angel moral.


Most of the efforts on this server have been put into dsoma, you got crafting, you can an upgrade system, upgrade items were added, balancing patch is in the making. The tag system covers both worlds, magmas cover both worlds. Dsoma has had every part of developmental attention since the beginning. Which has made you more and more overpowered compared to the stats/items of Hsoma. Dsoma mobs are no-cap whereas all humans are stuck on 171str even if they wanted to, and had spare exp to do more.

This being said, I can't suggest a solution. The next patch will make melee humans even less viable RvR. I just don't think the two games should meet, they're not compatible.

Also it's been said that Finito has worked up a great looking Angel moral town for you and it just needs to be implemented.

U just miss the point, on dsoma archer cant vs an axer and its also human vs devil cant vs him melle that why ur stats system looking diiferent,that why any human char have the choice to get int or any hight kind of stats t ,but if u wana make ur char mele and using feather against the must magic's on humans world so that not mean u gona change dsoma to.humans look like this already cuz almost all people going tanker probbly no more bott for doing int, yea its the true :). So ur choince going as a melle and also u wana hurt mele dsoma player but lets not forgot u also hurt him magic and this dmg is insane

Said it before and I'll say it again

If you want a strong melee charector make a devil
If you want to be a Mage, go human.

Well at least this is what is implied by a couple of devs when ever the subject is brought up.

For a human to cap str and have 125+ dex, unless they heal for int, they're not going to have much more than 100 int. kinda the same as devs having to punch at the moment....

enlighten me young padewan. 4 years deep and theres no gem drops, mobs with nothing for appropriate levels. *upgrades* that fail 99% of time. spent 2 years getting shit to break in a day. yes some people have got *lucky* very few tho. dsoma has wat 2-3 *reused/new* mobs. hunted 12k mags and got 0 DF. humans goto blg/mags and get drops on the daily. ps suckmaclit

how about removing the pot delay for RVR, at least it gives people the chance to stay alive for longer even if it does have an increased risk of RSI

INTHEFACE suggested pot delay removal (on sacred stone stone) for humans.. Not a bad idea, even if we do have puny bagweight.

Another option would be changing pots for humans and devils. Change our best pot to W3+70hp and humans best pot to W4+130hp

Same, which is also an issue. there's too many issues involving RvR because dsoma and hsoma fundamentally different. tbh there is no "fix" for rvr, its too late for that. but we need to bridge the gap from dsoma melee and hsoma magic.

The main problem with SS is the lack of numbers recently on hsoma. This isn't a moan just putting my opionion out there. If hsoma could get about 7 people per stone with one main tank and the rest healers / slowers then with pots they would be pretty hard to remove. Except there isn't the numbers and also there isn't the team work. Add that to the reward which unless you are decent isn't worth it. Also (myself included in this) Pking at SS bosses with the rival guild. It all adds up to lack of effort at SS.

Firstly I'm sure after SS fin could code pk to be disabled for 1hour after ss finishing.

The numbers could be related to poor possibility of a crap monster. Then I suggest the race with the biggest pos count is guaranteed Gorshak?

I like the idea of one race getting a shak tbh. The only reason I've ever pk'd at an SS boss is because people don't turn up yetcome to try and get boss kills. I understand some weeks no devils turn up so it's pointless 20 humans sitting there when it only takes 3. But the weeks when we have to really work for the pos to then have people rock up is really frustrating. Removing pot delay would be a massive help for humans but would handicap devils abit too much maybe?
