I have the most accuracy gear in dsoma, and even I think its fkin worthless at the moment. I've actually been wearing my GVW tank items mostly in pvp, because I need survivability, not 20% more hit rate

I agree stones, the only issue is that deimos/ me can NEVER wear zombie pants ourselves, as 1. we won't hit a dex class enough to ever get a reasonable procc chance, and 2.) We will absolutely melt without the defense from pads, when we are eating every auto attack that heads our way


Last night you were claiming 50% hit rate against archer, now you can't hit a Dex class enough?

Curby who doesnt have gear anywhere like you but same level 5ths me and then tries to run healer but can't make it before i drop him says to me your accuracy gear outweighs my dex

I would suggest my gear is better than you are aware but also I can’t afford to wear zombie pants otherwise you would be hitting me for 100 damage a hit, with the recoil nuk has nobody can afford to take that damage every hit

I’m not suggesting returning back to where it was before as that was far too high, it was to the point where I was able to dual screen pvp because nobody bothered attacking axers, I just believe this is too far in the other direction

Without anyone dying it isn’t viable to fight Dex classes 1v1, pots run out to quick to bother, maybe the con boost for everyone is what would suit things I don’t know but when all 3 101+ axers are saying they can’t see themselves bothering with it while other classes are thriving surely rings alarm bells somewhere

That's because they're use to being able to facetank 20men, game has never been more balanced than it is now, con increase across the board would help as usercount is getting higher, often 4v4s have now become 6v6s, but in no way feel any class should gain more con than another

I’m not suggesting they should, I honestly think a 20 con buffer across the board would sort things a lot, it means people last long enough to react to others running in,
As it stands if the 6 focus fire people instantly drop because people can’t take 6 hits
Also note 0 mages have been involved in pvp since patch (except for our half hour fun filled runabout which was for fun only as I knew at best I could annoy you with it)

I hit you a fine amount, but thats me, not most other axers like kekket/cocaine/curby etc. You honestly think I can get away with wearing zombies though :p? Can party you in arena later if u wanna test it. Fairly sure damage will absolutely not be worth it. And without zombies, I'm never killing you.

1KE = +accuracy chance

I would also take anythin curby says with a grain of salt, hes high most of the time (fairly sure he was last night at that fight lol )

Sure we'll test, but it's the same in 1v1, I needed 2 zombie proc back to back to kill an axer, there's no way I'm killing an axer without zombie (2 in this case) 1v1 same as he isn't liking me without it, overall class balance seems fine tho,

Can't see how axers can't use zombie, don't you also pvp with 4th when smaller scale? An upped axe and 2nd aura with zombie wouldn't give you much less defence than 4th with invuln,

I think the 2 main issues are - DTs are without question too strong at the moment, Does anyone disagree with this? Dsoma is at the moment a Dex gear arms race, EVERY CLASS wants it, because it has defensive and offensive bonuses

And as musa suggests ( and we suggested in the PTR) Con might need buffing FOR ALL CLASSES (not just axers, how do you think poor spear users feel?). Even if its just 15-20


I dont particularly care how bad axe feels to play personally, because I still love playing soma with my guild, doesn't matter what class I have to play, we always have a laugh regardless. We work hard and can build dex sets if we need to , or all cap archers if we need to.

Just the patch is still new and GMs are very open to constructive feedback, so I think its important we just bring these issues up for discussion with them and other dsoma players. They can take a look and see if this is the direction they want dsoma to go.

Usercount is still exceptionally high and most people are having a great time, new items are still coming in/being developed as well

Is 1 KE not 1%accuracy based on your Dex?

1 DT is 1 evade chance Dex and 1 accuracy Dex?

170 dex 1% accuracy gives you 1.7 attacking Dex 0 evasion dex

You chose to take the more hit rate gear build than a mixed evade/accuracy build. But that's just gear not anything to do with balance

When I was on the PTR, and the hit chance text was shown. It appeared I had a 25% hit chance on archers ( pure dex calculation I was wearing zero gear).

I then put my accuracy set on and it said I had a 48% hit chance or something. It appears the accuracy you get from armor, is a flat additional percentage to your hit chance, AFTER the dex calculation has been performed.

This sort of means, you can counter peoples dex gear with your own dex gear, but you can't counter their accuracy gear by wearing more dex stuff.

I assume evasion in hsoma applies the same but for miss chance ( reduces your hit chance by a flat modifer after the dex calculation).


This would make accuracy really nice, If everyone wasn't so desperate for survivability at the moment on dsoma.

I cant possibly wear offensive oriented armor, because it feels suicidal. I need to wear dex, to reduce peoples hit chance ( even as an axer lol), or i need to stack as many CTs as possibly onto max def invuln, and pray the +con accessories get added soon

Unsure if 1dex = 1hit rate and 1 accuracy = 1 hit rate, guess not as this would be broken I think

Most people built RDT sets pre patch, as attack +def was too good combined, and now they've all been fucked over in a way too, not much difference to if accuracy is messed up now

again tho this is just gear and has nothing to do with balance among classes

So If I'm understanding this right (probably not) you built your accuracy gear when your Dex was alot further behind to be of more benefit than building Dex gear? So you too got f*cked over by the patch just like anyone else who built RDT gear/upgraded rare/epic tags before combine feature came in.

If I'm wrong someone explain in thick people terms please
