I'm ignoring nothing, i've said from the start (and many other players have) that Soma is massively PvP based
As for making myself look "even more silly" the last time i seen you in-game i said "nice axe" because you were hunting with a HoM and you told me to "fuck off and die" then said "i quit" and threw all your gear/items on the floor and logged off.

To be fair with buffys crafting skill. That ring took about 1 second to make. The axe cost 4 frogs max.

My least favourite thing about PK is the fact that pkers can kill someone so many levels below themselves.
It's all well and good bragging about a K/D when you've earned it on a level playing field but a group of capped/high level pkers attacking someone 30, 20, 15 or even 10 levels lower themselves shouldn't be allowed to happen. If PK is to be on permanently i'd like to see the level limit changed to +/-5. At least give the non-pk a chance to fight back. Ideally it would be better if it could be based on average level of party members i.e a group of 3 pkers, lvl100, 105 and 110 would only be able to attack members of another party with an average total level of +/-5 level 105. If an individual in that party happens to be level 90, they can still be attacked as their remaining party members should be able to pick up the slack if the average fits. This could be banded as well so perhaps if a character is 1 - 70 the current rule applies, if over 70 the above applies. This would stop people partying their afk store chars to avoid being pked.

i think it comes down to majority vs minority, how many people are crafters/neutral etc that need catering too? is 10% of the server (not an exact representation but does the job) worth keeping around rather than 90% ?
what carnage said about grinding to kill a mob 2-3 seconds faster seems to be what 4-5 people are arguing about in this thread, they do say that "i've been jumped by 4-5 people" and all of a sudden that makes them eligible to complain about how pk works?? i completely agree with the idea that pk has been carebeared through the roof - and it's only because of people like this who think that accumulating thousands of hours for gear seems to be the only point of the game, and that an essential part of the game, pk, doesn't need to be balanced enough for the rest of the players. it's also ironic that these "crafters" find the fact of dying twice at the expense of 50k max really hard to swallow - crafters make this in minutes, and if you're unable to swallow ur pride for more minutes of hunting stop playing if anything i think that pk should be reverted back to the old system and restrict the level limit from 0-100 to 10 and from 100-110 to 5 - it'd also be a kind gesture if any of the GMs can show a graph of how the usercount has fluctuated when PK patches came into play.

Do you realise that some players would kill another 5,000 times one after the other because they are too stupid to stop? Even with 30 minutes now, that absolutely flies by. Also, let's not forget the bad mouthing after the kills, the mob luring and stealing too, so it's not 30 minutes usually until the next one, it's more like 20. †BTVS™ © ®

Some players pk multiple times, but again there are almost 2 spawn points for every mob in the game, move spots? Time flies, but again is it worth nerfing an essential part of the game for 10% of the community when the fix is simply to just buy more resis and deal with it? If you can't handle the bad mouthing, and if any personal abuse occurs then I'm sure the game masters would be happy to ban anyone temporarily to teach them a something or two about mannerism. :)?
