Change the way to kill bosses

Zyar - you are exactly the same as jackelpup here. You’ve both made chars which are brilliant for hit rate and not being hit by other players but bloody useless without amazing attack gear at bosses. YOU CHOOSE THAT NOBODY ELSE!!!! Stop moaning and deal with it and adapt. Take up spear and have a high damage weapon instead of a bow.

Yes bosses are out dated but what you’re suggesting is redic. Unless you’re willing to help yourself first then I don’t see why the gms should help you either.

Because it makes taking the risk at the anvil (which you clearly won’t) not worth it. There would be no advantage at all to having good attack access in the PVE sense.

Why should you (whose made his char build less superior at 120) have the same chance of getting a boss kill over someone who has sacrificed some of their dex to hit hard?

When the next level cap comes into play trust me your char will be amazing as you’ll have a very high starting dex and can do str, you’ll soon see the rate you kill bosses will increase.

But to sit there and moan about lack of boss kills because of your decisions and lack of balls at the anvil is nobody else’s fault.

Ermmm... I got loads of crafting skills, and break everything. That's why I have loads of items. I have nothing to upgrade...

People actually having a go at China for killing bosses? Really seen it all now. If your character build contains flaws for doing certain things less effectively who is to blame exactly.

I have no problem with ideas being implemented which would help the game. Except the idea which you are suggesting is stupid. You’re asking for something to change because you’ve set up wrong for bosses when you knew the outcome of setting a char up like that.

When jackel moans and says mags are impossible to hunt on his char I just wanna get off the world because if he’s stupid enough to build a char which struggles at mags then complain about it on the forum it is just the single most stupid thing I read on here.

Implement a system where if you do X amount of damage to a boss you get a counter which fills over time. Once filled you can exchange it for something which that particular boss drops (maybe open a box etc so you can’t just choose the weap / tab you want each time) then the counter goes back to 0. All this while you can still get the main drop too.

I sacrificed a char (Michelin) which I stopped doing dex on for a period to get higher int and higher str which made me better at mags and also let me hit harder at bosses. If I can adapt a char to suit my needs why can’t everyone else?

It wont improve the game. If all you want to do is compete at bosses, you need high as poss str and decentish dex. Then attack gear and accuracy gear. Just work on your gear now. Then use the next cap raise on your str then youll be just like china

+1 Papapilas, melee vs bosses isn’t broken, mage v bosses is - if you’re melee you have the opportunity to genuinely compete for bosses (you may or may not choose to set up your stats and gear as such, but you could), the same can’t be said for mage’s.

i like tiresias as he has low md and high dex which makes mage have a really high probability of the drops
where as the other bosses have high dex and high md but melee still gets most of the drops due to mages doing no damage to them

no actual point to my post just wanted to say xD

Somawizard suggested that it should change to hits on a boss hit counter for a repeatable quest with rewards that replicate the drops.

I think that is a pretty good idea, would mean you at least make some progress for attending rather than an all or nothing on last hit.

First time playing properly this year really. Besides a week here or there. Still lvl 111. Been fine killing bosses.
