Thoughts of the day.....

Was great to see so many dsoma players turn out for there battle royale :)

To my surprise though dsoma doesn't have any single shout scrolls? Can this be looked at please GM's :)

Speaking with the dsoma community I have to say, devils need a lot of love and care at the moment, it's like there an afterthought at the moment.

The stat allocation needs addressing, it's caused so many to leave.

Why is there no pills of illusions equivalent in dsoma?

Why do there upgrades not act like hsoma i.e.

There upgrades go 1% on the first upgrade and not 3% like hsoma, shouldn't they be treated same?

I know the uc is lower on dsoma than hsoma, but wow there drop rates seem to be none existent could this be looked at for the sake of the dsoma community?

So I’ve been back for a couple of weeks after a 9 month break. Maybe it’s just because people have capped and are now taking a break, but H Soma is a lot quieter than before my break.

A couple of ideas I have, but people may not agree.

Any way to port the game onto tablets/smart phones? For such a small game and the mobile game market being so huge could attract a lot of new player. I’ll use Raid: Shadow Legends as an example (which seems to be a very impulse one at the moment and advertised on YouTube constantly). Very simple game, more so than Soma but a huge player base.
I know the gms run this server as a hobby and they are awesome for doing so, but just sonething I’ve thought about. I know nothing of programming so guess it’s a lot of work to implement.

The anvil is a huge baine for a lot of people, maybe success rates could do with improving? Say
100% at +1
90% at +2
75% at +3
Then have the % dramatically drop. Means newer players can at least have something half decent whilst levelling up, let’s face it. Means that when a newer player gets to say BLG they can have some half decent eva and a reasonable weapon. The eva would then help the player not have to stop hunting trying to get SRs.
Just an idea, flame away :)

Anyway, that’s my thoughts. Never going to get rid of the +50 stat charecters, but gms have stayed multiple times that as level caps increase the difference will become minimal.

i do think some of the mobs that aint even hunted need a rework or something

theres probs so many unused monsters that dont even get hunted

100% the dsoma stat system killed dsoma its why alot left i think

Yup mobs need rework ay. Big time. Dsoma ia so dead atm our gvw is lame as, ty munity LOL. Also as i would also say that over half dsoma is korean players. Im Australian and similar time zone to my korean brothers gvw is normally 3am in perrh Australia. Items are expensive as not many ppl to trade with and hence not many ppl less drops.

For hsoma plz plz rework mobs i wanna hunt on merc again i love merc its my favourite map. I play on zell and on Cleverdic im a original soma beta player aswell. I hope my input helps.

The soma economy, dsoma trading seems to have ground to a complete stop and hsoma doesn't seem to be too far behind.

Does it require GM's intervention or can the players reignite the economy somehow?

imo economy will only pick up if people are playing, some people are capped and bored others want more to do need to introduce shak weps to a farmable mob may slightly help, along with some more quests for things like nega tears on said new mobs for example and new tabs

I don't think they should be crafted, Dropped via farmable mobs or quests

New additions to the game can be appealing to players to return.

I Guess its time & money, I think it would be a full time effort, on part time hours makes it unrealistic, unless you find a way to make soma pay a dev team full time, We can dream! I concur its the way forward! why many people think its not really needed, they are happy Soma being as it is, more concerned with cap raises and new toys. But i think porting a new interface and making it work on android / ios however hard that task may be is the only real way to bring back the sort of UC the game deserves. We see it happening now with runescape etc, technicalities maybe totally different but with the right funding and expertise it could be done.

Once again GM's continues to give to the community by adding a new boss by the name of Garshuk btw it packs one hell of a punch, thank you Isylver and Finito 😁

Seems it's that time of the month again when the forums descend into chaos with the "who can have the last word competition" I honestly believe that some of you would still argue if you where in a room on your own. There are no winners in this rivalry only one casualty and that will be Soma, or is that what both sides are trying there hardest to achieve by running the rest of the server out of here?

I still hold on to hope, hope that you all come to a some agreement to live in soma without all this crap before it's too late, before you drive more players away, before there's just the 2 sides left on this server.

"RAVENSOUL"1 Is it possible for the casual player to acquire the best items in soma, by which I mean things like warbeast stud which I believe is only dropped by a boss, the ultimate accessories from onzu?

2 Is it right or fair that any of the items in game is only dropped by one monster? surely there should always be an alternative monster to acquire the item in question?

3 Have you more chance of sighting the Loch Ness monster than acquiring this mythical item called a necro sting?

4 I know there are some craftable items in game that the recipes are still unknown, should there be hints/ tips on working them out after say 6 months or should the recipes just be revealed?

5 Do you think there's much feedback from the suggestion section? Are we updated enough with the progress of suggestions taken up by our GM's?

6 Do you crafters feel there is enough mats to keep you stocked to craft? Could they do with increasing the restocks?

7 Would you like to see more GM presence and GM events?

8 Would an event Callander be a great addition?

9 Have noticed more of the lesser items do seem to be dropping more since the drop rates increase but haven't noticed much improvement on the higher end items, is there much difference from before the increase?

Take away vk crew and mandemz crew and who are you left with? A pve game for the unemployed???

Strange as it may sound... pve is necessary for most players..it's called levelling up and finding items to try make their own gear and upgrades..

This is my point the game will be full of linnys and lupis....which lets all face it wouldnt be a fun game.

People should choose a side and join the fight simple. If anyone gets pkd you got 30-50 allies to help rather than making 495939 threads about how bad the game is.

Is why 90% of the UC play

I agree bring a cap raise once a year to keep the capped players busy (6 months to cap 6 months gear/pk)

Game needs to run like this or it gets stale
