Apologies for the absence lately.
However, if I’m absent it’s generally with good cause. For complete clarity both my other half and toddler have been very ill and admitted to hospital over the past few weeks. Which means a lot of time off work and very little sleep. So please be patient. I do not appreciate being harassed on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram or any social media platforms. Trust me when I get time for soma I will do. i hope you appreciate the transparency here.

I totally agree, I'm good mates with blood_shot from dsoma (anime_police)and if he paid what he owed and extra it's just fair to get his char back, we need UC back man I've been playing this game for 3 years now and it feels dead with the low UC (my opinion) I haven't logged on my noob char since June after losing half my guild mates (do_or_die) cos of the suspension/ban. I think ban should only apply to someone botting or buying stuff. I hope Dan can re-consider ;/ no hating just sharing!

So he should be penalised for throwing his dummy out the pram because before the rule come in he carried on pking after GM told him to stop.. so got banned. Then retracted the payment.
To then make the payment + more ontop.
To then make a fresh char a year later
To spend more ££ in donations.
To the be banned again for something that happened years ago ...
Isn't it better someone to pay for the none breaking rules in the first place. Who payed and payed extra for his actions but where people £££ chars / items get a ban but are aloud a second chance as the server didn't benefit from others but Douavacado they did ( even if it was a tad late )

No apologies needed Isylver, we've told you in game that real life will and should always be your priority over soma, wishing your partner and little Isylver a speedy recovery from all the soma family here in game get well soon.

It’s weird that players take things into other forms of social media... I’ve had two people message me trying to give me abuse on a different platform. It’s not something I’ve ever done nor will do. People call me toxic and a cancer of soma but once I’ve logged out and stop playing I don’t seek to annoy or wind people up over social media! People need to take a step back and evaluate themselves if they can’t keep game related things in game.

Apologies for the absence lately. I'm sure most of us do, with the little team operating and personal lives etc its not surprising at all. Maybe its time to expand your team? trust a few more people from outside share the work load, I remember the creativity inspired by somadev, such a community of people all working on different things. that development community is non existent now, its basically just two people! realistically 2 people with full time jobs and family's is never going to be able to provide the sort of time required. Wouldn't you ever be open to the possibility of outsourcing getting someone in to help. as far as progression and development, I think were just going to be forever adding the next set of mobs for players to cap too, 1 new set of weapons and Armour each update when the next set of fan boys hit the cap, then they will complain on the forums about wanting a cap raise. and this will go on and on. Im not sure there is actually much left to do with the game that's not a drastic UI overhaul.
