Exp rate over the weekend

Author Content Date
72% a week..

Am I the only one that thinks that’s absolutely ridiculous?

To put it blunt, soma is the SLOWEST mmorpg to date and the levelling is there to mask the fact the structure of the game has absolutely zero endgame content.

It’s no longer enjoyed by more people than it is. One of the two (or both) changes floating around the forums at the moment quite frankly needs to happen or as more and more people get frustrated and leave the less time is going to be committed from a GM point of view.

Neither of the suggestions harms capped players at all, it benefits them if anything, the goal for us all is to see this game succeed. Actually up the rates overall (none of this mobs have increased 0.75% exp bonus) post about it on social media and watch people come back, I’d put money on it.

Make our favourite game a game again, instead of a chore.

I don’t think we can go to the level of permanent triple exp as that’s insane. However, my pledge will be an increase when I’m back permanently. We’re probably looking at like a 25% boost across the board (aside from bugs etc).

What do you guys think?

Awesome idea especially if that's for crafting as well.

Can we have clarity on the 25%, do you mean x 1.25? Personally I feel the suggestion of x1.5 was good so on double weekends it would feel like the triple xp weekend.

Il admit the ability for lv 100 to get hit by level 120 isn’t all bad bud least if the xp is some what faster they can gain stats And stand a better chance sooner

You get 10% for winning conti and it isn't even noticeable, 25% boost is very minimal so i doubt it will be enough to bring back returning players or encourage new ones imo, which was the aim of the thread i believe. The usercount speaks for its self during double n triple exp events vs on a average day, the difference is crazy. which to me proves its to grindy on a average day for the average player. This isn't E soma we're not all 12 anymore with all the free time in the world, hence why the rates are discouraging to all the players who cant put in the level of commitment it takes to cap a char, unless you enjoyed been banged every 30 mins by someone 20 levels above, the fun part of the game doesn't start till cap so why make it such a chore to experience the game in all its glory, pvping on the same level, farming for gear n not feeling guilty because farming mobs dont give stats ect. . more cap raises = further behind with minimal upped rates to compensate has slowly lead to a huge decrease in users. We all just want to see the game spring back to life and although any increase in rates is a step in the right direction, I believe it's not enough to achieve bringing a big usercount back in.

Jeeezzz... 25% is NOTICEABLE, you guys just don't try lol

All the time I've been leveling, I've rarely seen any of you at it? But it's too slow right? Quite literally havnt seen any of you leveling and leveling is usually slow when you dont level.

I think you all just need to try and actually level and realise it isnt that bad lol

I think the only reason you guys play is because you think it's going to be utopia once you hit level 120 but in reality you won't be able to handle the farming for items grind judging by how you think current % is slow.. and then you'll moan again and say that items should just be given to people on a plate so they can pvp against people who put more time in without trying.. -_-

What I'm saying is if you think the current % is bad then you have another thing coming when you're actually capped :)

It's the same with anything in life, you get out what you put in.

I imagine the 25% will be applied to drops also. I get your point of view, but you are failing to understand those who can't play every day/night will be unable to cap. Thats fine if you want to pvp against the same players at endgame and don't want to see any new faces there.

I've been at BLG for a couple of months now, I see Lupi there everytime I'm on, but I haven't seen you. Maybe you're at the VOD spawn? Currently crafting though as I don't have access to a crafting character which is probably why you don't see me. I don't need to craft to cap, but I want to so that I can make my gear when I get there.

Edit: I Only ever got to lvl 50 on Esoma so I am a lightweight.

I am not the one failing to understand

You guys dont realise, whatever isylver does to the game it does not change the fact that you are just not putting time in.

That is the factor that has the control, not how fast lvls are or drops or anything other than the amount of time put in.

You wanna be good at pvp then you better start by putting the time in... end of

Edit: it's a joke if you think capping faster will help.when you guys still.wont have the time to farm for items, so even though you are capped you will just be cannon fodder in pk and then moan again

A game that requires you to put 1000 hours in to be the level to farm another 2000 hours worth of items so you can pvp.

Remind me why Matty is always harking on about how good Albion is? Maybe the fact that you can spend 10 hours being boosted in a farming group and equip top end gear with a bit of pay 2 win currency. Yeah I've played it I can see why its succeeding and this is not.
