STR - 214.1
INT - 86.5
DEX - 157.4
WIS - 86.8
CON - 201.7
-------------
Bow (HP 659, MP 369, STA 1197)
STR - 183,9
INT - 90.3
DEX - 200.5

STR - 260.2 (This is out of bounds?)
INT - 85.7
DEX - 123.3
WIS - 85.6
CON - 191.7

these stats look quite ok (sword could probly do with a little more dex dependin what knuckle ends on)+(oversly we cant get that str on axe)

Finito Bow - 764.9 stats
Finito Sword - 746.5 Stats
Finito Axe - 746.5 Stats

So bows up 18.4 stats on sword/axe

but 187 stats are still upsetting, getting almost 20 more str and 50 more int than Finito bow
------------------------------------------------------
187 - BOW (HP 666, MP 450, STA 1214)
STR - 200.4
INT - 121.3

To stop the speculation -

It's simple a new mob(s) were added on Finito's test server so that the axe/spear/sword classes could level with there actual weapon until cap(spear/sword stats will come later i guess.) Making Axer's the "tank" of Dsoma with very low accuracy but they'l sure sting when they do hit ^^, if a player decides to put in x10 the hours punching to have the "perfect character" that's fine imo, they deserve the stats for the incredible amount of hours put in.

Finito can also take stat bonuses away from a single monster and just leave the cap +31 for Str mob/+10 for Int mobs(I believe that's going to happen for all monsters after the Lv cap is raised as well, so no one can moan that they are getting shafted if a new guy Lvls up due to going to new monsters earlier and getting insane stat bonuses)

Thats because 187 punched and gained more str, and also as finito stated he went wbm at 165~ str, 187 went at 110-120 to my understanding, which is why his stats are alot better, pretty easy to figure that out when u check the difference between wbm and kharil lizards str, he carried on bowing even after hitting 200 dex which is why his stats are so different gaining little stats and no dex, if finito punched when he capped dex it wouldnt have been far off (only lower due to staying KL for a long time)

Punching will always be better once you cap dex for classes that gain the most dex, this is where the tradeoff is, pick archer or knux and you will have a great time until the other classes finaly hit 200 dex, then the tables turn but this is something u should know from the begining, some classes strong early and others later although both can be with punching just takes much longer

It may not be better but it's not entirely worse.
With the exception of strength, punching allows exceeding most stats caps and focuses most on lowest stats.

Unless this new mob is going to be Axe-only(YEAH RIGHT), you just allowed all classes to reach beyond their str cap, and thus, would not fix anything.

First you can't calculate stats like that or I'll take 200 dex and whatever on the rest.

OK, Finito said axe cap WBM at Lv 93, that's 216 str
Obviously my previous guess of 130 dex is sank like the Titanic.
After seeing this I'm going to say Axer probably capped with 110 dex at which point Finito knew something had to be done.

Now we have the luxury of waiting while someone does some hard work.

why cant we calculate stats like this ? end of the day 18 more stats over someone else in any stat pays a big advantage (ignoring 187 stats at this point)

in theory id like to see all class's have something along the lines of 800 stats at lvl 100, depending on what class you pick gives you your stat order

Be interested to see Daxe and Dbow have a duel (77 more str should help with that dex)

only problem with having 800 total stats by lvl 100 is the fact that dex is caped, just means other class will catch archers dex at some point (once cap is raised) which the archer should have also catched other class str, meaning we would all end up with same stats at some point (least it would be balanced :P)

Classes don't have set str caps lold. Only monsters do, archers would Lvlcap around 200 str with some punching, axers would say cap at say 260 str with the new mobs. You'll be the tanks of Dsoma, what more do you want? Class diversity is good imo.

I see what you are trying to do but it's probably a bit more complicated because not all stats are equal.
You would need to assign a value to each type of stat, then you could do what you've done.
1~4 scale
Str = 2 + 2 Con
Int = 1 +1 Wis
Dex = 3
Wis = 1 (MD no longer used added to Int)
Con = 2 (Def no longer used added to Str)

So STR 4, Dex 3, Int 2
Sword 1501.2
-------------
Bow 1517.7
-------------
Axe 1366.9 (using 216 cap and 110 dex most likely numbers with current cap mobs)

And you could argue that Dex = 4 cause the best Def is not getting hit

You get better gains the less STR you have against the MOB you are hunting. If new mobs are added that allows an Axer to reach 260 STR (probably more), then Archers (and every other class) will also be able to achieve much more STR than they would normally (I'd expect Archers to be able to get 220 STR, at least, if new mobs are added). This would make adding new mobs counter-productive.

think axe/bow stats posted are intrested, and probly about right, sword will struggle tho

Seen as -77 dex for axer gives 80% evasion to archer
and -41 dex for sword gives archer 80% evasion (tho 5th may help)

some one tell me if im wrong

New mob wont give archer 220 str, 187 only has 200 with the amount of punching

Mostly depends on how much someone is willing to punch before Lvl cap.
Since axe cap wbm at lv 93 (216 str) and in 7 lvls gain 44 str from one or more mobs, I'd guess ranger could hit 220+ str.

As archers can kill most mobs earlier, safer and easier then 1 space melee classes adding new mob(s) is a tough balance.

so we agree if a new mob is added it needs to be range 6 (melee only) and high amount of attacking dex :P realy high

Actually with the cap firm at 100 for now, My suggestion is class specific gear.
INT gear +/-
Dex gear +/-
Str gear +/-

This too would be complicated to calculate the fair trade offs for uplifts.
