I don't see why all of this is an issue? If you don't like the success rate, don't get 200 skill -.-

These % are just insane. There are so many +8 weapons around now, it shouldn't be easy to get at all. This is Myth of Soma, not Roblox.

I agree with this.
If these figures are accurate. Then I would leave the anvil.
The only thing I feel would benefit people is the drops. If the drops where there - then people would strategize abit more to equal a failure.
+ If people had the problem with things failing on 100-150 u no what to do to increase your chances.

I know this isnt accurate, but its someone suggestion.

I am for keeping the same %, however, I woulden't mind if they would up the 200 skill % by 3-5% flat on level.

Yeah for me the anvil is fine. It's the quantitys we need to come out with something good. I also agree 200skill should have something better tho.

I'm sure it has been mentioned, something such as a critical success? A 200 skill crafters robe giving extra 15% success 30% of the time. Arbitrary numbers but you get the idea. It just means a reward for 200 skill nutters without changing the rest of the system.

tripple drops seemed about right for the anvil right now.

The player base as a whole is not what it used to be, only a small % have time to grind now. Most just want a few hours a day of hunting/llving/pvp.

So catering for that market is what will make this game live on.

Maybe if the success rates from this chart where increased by just 4% and drop rates increased inline with levelling rates it could be all that’s needed???

with the current rng system in place... a few % here n there will still result in massive disappoinments, breakages and won't really change anything.
A new system is needed 1 way or the other as has been discussed elsewhere

Flickthebean, Qiang, Misericord, would any of you be able to crunch the numbers for us using Isylver’s suggested method of the item reverting back to normal on fails from attempting going +1 and +2 but crouch the numbers going for +1 all way to +8 if it’s possible?

+2 52% - 64% - 66%
+3 48% - 61% - 64%
+4 44% - 58% - 62%

Let’s split this up a bit, 1-5 are toes, you cannot upgrade toes 6-8 and cannot add dragon pill to armour,so these values are irrelevant. The bonus between 100 and 200 skill is 20% better success rate going 4 to 5 that’s a massive bonus..
Swift spirits are basically 50/50 +6-8 it’s a flip of a coin and requires zero crafting skill. Adding swift spirit at +1 has a 70% success rate and the lowest it goes to is “roughly” 50 at +8.
I honestly don’t see a problem with these figures they seem good enough for people to be running around is decent gear. If a change to make upgrading easier it would just make the rich richer the people who can farm lots will benefit the most so no change to how it is now. It’s a really hard one to change without ruining the server.

Untill we get an official response from Finito on currently what the actual figures are how we honestly debate this, someone for the of God please get fin to post the ACTUAL rates. Anything else is pure speculation.

I personally think it has yet to be reverse engineered from the server oneperone.
