a basic stinger or hardened is hardly better than a normal apus.... +1 might make slightly quicker...... but ususally +2 needed for speed + ..Thats hardly greed trying for +2 ...and +2..... whoah....... more breaks than successes

and tbh.... greed or no greed....... 1 stinger a day from a boss.... aint gona feed a whole server of 93 dex + ppl looking for a bow

1 stinger a day? **** me am I just blind to boss spawns or what? ive seen like 2 pammy in the last fortnight

Although i don't agree with making stingers more common just yet, i do agree there is a big underlying problem here.

Taking bow as an example, and rewind 6 months, apus was the end game weap.
Today, we have stingers and also the new gorshak bow, which have taken the place as endgame weapons.
However, apus bows are actually harder to come by.
As high lvl items move on, lower lvl items need to become more accessible. The patches have been great, but you can't just keep introducing new boss mobs and new end game weapons, it only makes the underlying problem worse.
There needs to be an increase in supply for weapons at apus bow lvl.

Stingers, not just yet. But my point still stands, maybe in 3 months time when there are more gorshak weapons around, maybe an increase in supply on stingers will be needed.

Upgrade system, is dated and overly brutal. This has been discussed in a thread in the idea's section of the forum. I support the idea of not breaking weapons.

This has been a problem on dsoma for months. Hopefully now it's passed to hsoma both can get sorted

I like the idea of the upgrade failing going back down to normal i.e. If I have a bone helm @ +2 (4%) and I go for +3 (5%) and it fails, then it would return to being a normal bone helm.


Completely stupid idea, people already have +3 +4 weapons, and if you make it so gear never breaks... As long as upgrades are more likely to succeed than fail, eventually people will have all weapons +8.
Same for armor.

Items need to break.

Yes completely stupid idea - and what upgrade could you stack that much of to get a +8? Perhaps if you've done prisms/nightmare from 80-int cap you'll have enough dragon pills to do so but I very much doubt it with the success rates at the moment.

Problem is.... very few ppl have +3 or +4's .. most ppl dont have a +1........and the main problem is...................................................................


they dont fukin drop enought to even try +1 nmv +2/3/4

and yes... apus bows are hard to get too

there has to be some more weapon drops added..of all kinds..to some mobs

not massively ....but more weapon drops are needed

if 1-2 stingers were dropping a day there would be more than enough in game, that just isn't true. i agree there should be more but who wants everyone running round with +3/+4 stingers, certainly not all the people with 150+ int

Thats why you make it a requirement of at least +1/+2 before it cant break, solves that problem straight away.

The dura until stinger is the price you pay for having an awesome pvp and pve weapon with range that allows you to hunt monsters a lot earlier and easier then you should be able to
