Healing to 100int

Author Content Date
folks here have suggested alternatives to preventing the need to afk heal while you are clearly happy for it to continue so you can fap over screwing someone who can't fight back.

you 'catch' non-afk players with this bs just as much as you do afk healers

you pull this crap on non-afks most often causing % pen and they are then stuck having to log off until you go away, log back on and try to let gray drop off without dying then having to work off pen.

there's zero justification to it what so ever...

kill them once and you stop them healing if they are afk... no more no less job done?

when you start killing them multiple times your purely doing it for self gain and ego basically 'fuck the game it's all about me'

people like that are the reason the UC is low and the people the game doesn't need.

This was a literal bug with immunity, and has been fixed, so what's your point?

Bottom line is, gaining stats AFK, when it can be prevented, should be prevented. What can I do about people gaining stats via aura? Nothing, so that's what I'll do.

What is your problem with people healing afk? Seriously? Is it because of the stat advantage of 1.0 str or int? Or is it because it's just flat out against the rules?

Why are you not being so vigilant and making such an effort to stop people in your own guild from abusing KD ratio and immunity? Even though it's clearly been stated by Isylver that it's against the rules?

As soon as Fintio fixes it so you can't heal/hit anyone unless you are in PK mode, all of this will stop. This was suggested to stop people abusing mages AOE'ing and people standing in the way of spear aura's but it will stop people from being killed grey in town, which is a bonus.

This. Regardless if you think you're doing the right thing Gentry, your guilds actions are making people quit. Call them snowflakes or whatever but it's true

/lastonline skittle 28th July

These 3 would all still be playing if your guild didn't grief them whilst they were healing. So you made 3 people quit all for what? To stop people from gaining a whole 1.0 of a stat above you? Congratulations. Enjoy lowering the user count even further

You guys are right there's zero justification to why a player who's gaining stats AFK should be susceptible to getting griefed.

I see nothing wrong with it at all 👍🤣 you win!

Nice side step of my points made above. Enjoy killing healers afk and lowering the user count whilst you can. Hopefully Finito puts the grey/PK mode fix in place at the weekend and all of this will never happen again.

What do you mean side step? I've iterated all my points in my previous points - you've deflected to K/D and immunity issues which have no relevance to gaining 90 int AFK. It wasn't me going around to returning, or new players, telling them oh mate you gotta heal to 100 int to be viable... which is why it should be removed altogether. But oh well I rest my case.

He's not gaining stats afk after the first kill ...

you've not justified it in anyway shape or form..

some people only see the small picture

There is potentially a change ready for this and could be implemented as soon as the weekend.

The change is: Healing grey characters does not make you grey in return.

However, as the community have mixed feelings towards this issue there should be suggestions to changing it. Aiming to make the introduction to the game easier. (you don't have to heal to 100INT)

So far there are:

INT in freemode
Quests for INT

I personally would just like to see INT removed from healing and a healthy alternative introduced.

EDIT: Finito has added a fix (now live) which is:

attacks, auras, and magic (including healing) will no longer hit a player outside of PVP events when in battle mode, must be in PK mode

Alright so adding my 10 cents here :)

I like these ideas a lot!

Due to the current way of gaining 100 int, it does mean a lot of afk healing in huts, bugs not available and so on. Could be off putting for new players.

So I think healing should still gain us INT at the current rate, just not in town? If this is possible.
Then add it to /freemode capped at 100 as suggested.
This should of course be a lot faster than healing it as well.

Guard to kill grey players - makes sense.

2 and 4 contradict themselves :D But as per above, no stat gain in town from healing and have it on /freemode.

Capping int at 50 for healing is a good idea.

So yeah I'm all for this! :) +1

Cheers,

Thanks for that, Randem. Good to have a new players perspective on this.
