PK/PVE maps

Although I have been against PVE maps for a while, I think we need to implement it to keep the community that are split between pvp and pve happy.

How it works..

Hsoma
PVE only map - Merc and Abias (any hunting mobs should spawn there too)
PVP Map - Vod and TYT

Dsoma
PVE only map - Hwan
PVP map - Pandy and IC

The only difference is that hunting on a PVP map gives you an increase of x1.5 drop rate. There has to be an incentive for the risk.
Immunity has to be completely removed from the server as you will no longer need it and its getting abused currently.
More bosses to spawn in PVE maps.

Conti should also be a PVP map or at least at certain times it toggles from PVE to PVP.

I think rather than upping current drops you could nerf drops on non pvp maps to almost 0, so that there is really a reward for taking the risk.

I think in a PVE map mobs should just drop barr. PVP maps drops as current.

Remove immunity pots remove immunity.

Remove PVP from conti, have conti as RVR only.

PVE map to only drop barr can also be a good addition, I just know someone will complain about not being able to farm items as they have to enter pvp maps..

As per spelunk message though, maybe reduce PVE drop rate to 50% and as per OTD keep conti RVR only.

In order to do a pve/pvp map you would have to copy the full map, not just dictate which map you can pvp or pve on when you have to hunt on certain maps at one point or the other

For some reason as I posted this I knew you would be the one who will say no =D

I did say all hunting mobs should spawn on the PVE mobs - this part wont take GM long to do

For Hsoma the new melee and mage mob need to also spawn to either merc or hwan.. what else?

It would have to be the full hunting mobs, as imagine a new player comes along and gets less or no drops, dsoma already a pain to get gear for new players

Dont have a issue with pk atm, accountability just needs to happen for those extreme circumstances, lvl limited could drop abit lower and 20 lvls is a little extreme, /pos just needs to display pos even if your offline, /last online should only work on guild members

We dont need to over complicate it, it will take probably couple of hours to replicate hunting mobs into PVE maps, the main once (blg, nm, trolls, warmess) are already done.

Its obvious that people have issue with getting pkd.. we still get pk off during events and people are abusing immunity - this is a simple solution for all and if the only issue people can think of is hunting mobs then thats not an issue at all :)

Agreed, lots of mmos have contested maps & uncontested maps where u cant attack each other. This will solve the immunity issue and any grievances the pve players have with getting pked.

Increased drop rates for the PvP area, but also improve on the moral system so that it goes above +74 and below -74, meaning if you really do go deep deep devil itll mean something. Then for the above angel players give them benefits for example even cheaper pots/materials from shops/ new moral above angel which gives you a boost in drop chance etc.

I'll add more to this later when I'm home.

The speed in which a player/character levels is that by the time they start wanting/needing evasion armour faster weapons etc they have near on nothing worth trading with.

So even mentioning lowering the drop rates on any possible PvE maps would push players away from Soma.

Increase the drop rates on the PvP maps and on conti for RvR by all means the risk of being attack versus the extra rewards is a worthwhile addition, but leave any PvE maps as is now regarding drop rates.

Dsoma drops are demoralising enough at the current rate, each to their own but even at x2 drops i rarely farm mags because its so poor

Im all for selected maps but imo it should be x2 in pvp and the current x1 pve
