"BIG_KEV"-1 don't like this idea. As stated above, it only benefits the bigger groups. I'm mainly PVE player and if this happens i think it would drive PVE players away

Just my opinion


This game is so sensitive to PVE players... I mean what is the issue if PVE map has exact same drop file as now and PVP map has a slight increase for the risk and thrill you go for? Why would PVE players be driven away ?

+1 tbh.

If the PvE players aren't given any drop reductions, the idea is really good and would work out for everyone (even with the removal of immunity)

Drops already suck in dsoma, a reduction would be depressing. PVE players like to farm... and a lot don't get to play much. if you hunt in a PVP map, you get what you want, a chance of PVP.

we are not talking about reducing pve maps.. it should stay the same
pvp map gets a slight increase so to encourage some pvp attempt as how 100s other games mechanic works

After discord discussions and with some players offline, maybe the compromise is...

1) A 30ish% drop increase when you have no immunity.
2) Remove the take 2 for immunity, but just have immunity pots available from regent vendor
3) Disable ability to attack players while immune

That way, if people want to risk it for better drops, they can, or if they just wanna chill for an hour of grind just use immunity pot but you will not get the 30% ish increase (this should also affect boss kills).

"AFRO"Although I have been against PVE maps for a while, I think we need to implement it to keep the community that are split between pvp and pve happy.

How it works..

Hsoma
PVE only map - Merc and Abias (any hunting mobs should spawn there too)
PVP Map - Vod and TYT

Dsoma
PVE only map - Hwan
PVP map - Pandy and IC

The only difference is that hunting on a PVP map gives you an increase of x1.5 drop rate. There has to be an incentive for the risk.
Immunity has to be completely removed from the server as you will no longer need it and its getting abused currently.
More bosses to spawn in PVE maps.

Conti should also be a PVP map or at least at certain times it toggles from PVE to PVP.

When certain players use immunity on 1 character and pk on another... which means the side that want to pk can be forever trolled like the above vid.

Immunity is and have always been a bad idea.. as pvp player I have tried to work around it but we need a better solution.

A major flaw / issue with immunity potions is that it doesn’t remove a player’s ability to go into PK mode... thus players can abuse this by being in a PvP situation, others unable to hit, and they can run about with a spell precast or a stone which they then use at an opportune moment. This is abuse of the system and should be punishable.

I dont see the current probelm. and why its being blown out of proportion, a few people have killed themselves to stop the hourly 2 deaths they take because they dont wish to PVP.
Atm you can PVP on everymap, you may only get two kills from a player but that is only for an hour, and on both worlds there are people who are constantly up for pvp.

why do we need specific maps to fight on?

people can use immunity pots if they dont wish to be killed for 1 hour or attempt a certain boss given they have not pked and have there pk prevention timer gone.
if they have been pking they dont have the luxury to hunt without consequence.

Gms have made a good effort to help people who are harassed with immunity.

I think the real issue here is most of you voting for this have decided to ally yourselves with 2/3rds of the server. with a small uc your pvp options are not great.

you are whinging about PvE players and pvp when you boast a crew of almost 3 guilds.

most pvp i do see is quickly shut down by logging bigger numbers or flooding pvp with stoners.

I hope your demands fall on deaf ears as you try to mould this game to suit. and thank the Gms for stepping back and seeing the bigger picture for both PvE and PvP.

Boss’s have always been pvp hot spots.

How about certain boss’s like valk queen remove immunity when you hit them?
