At the time i was in the alliance it was 56 dl members on hsoma obviosuly some play both obviosuly some just play dsoma

they may not be active right now, as dl is known for taking breaks but they had enough to make mutiny and mandemz. how many in a guild?

Just to bring this back slightly on topic rather than chars that log.
Mages definitely need looking at, at SS and pvp dsoma 1 bangs are ridiculous, even in MD gear. Need to look at limiting 1 proc per cast and probably reducing the proc damage, as it’s a case of cast and feather, cast and feather so on…. Wait for the lucky proc and claim ‘skillz’ and say ‘nn’. Think bow damage as mentioned earlier is sorted, don’t think any more is needed but mages definitely.

Proc is good, but in PvP it’s overpowered, proc hits massive on the dummy so it’s like being hit by 2/3 spells at the same time rather than a pod type boost. Too many people rely on proc to win, I see a lot of PvP videos where it’s feather and hope proc works. The ones I see that are better are hsoma where you have a support mage who weakens/zombies and main mage that’s big MA - very little proc. That for me is PvP, tatics and teamwork. Recognise the last proc rework people were upset, but full set of Dragon Breath proc to triple cast isn’t skill it’s abusing a flaw in the game so right that it was fixed. Suggest proc works on more of a pod type system as you’ve mentioned mate.

I think the biggest difference between dsoma and hsoma is that most hsoma chars have decent int and as such difference between ‘true mage’ int and tanking int isn’t that bad. Whereas dsoma mages have a very high int whereas defence wis is low, coupled with high ma staffs and some access, then with proc hitting almost as much as the main spell. You really need to be full wis spec to stand a chance, then you lose any hope of actually serving damage because you have to sacrifice. It becomes almost pointless to join PvP when a mage is there as your likely to be 1 banged a number of times without getting a hit off, due to the gbird proc mechanic… Definitely mage damage reduction/proc nerf the biggest change that’s needed to rebalance…
