Bow damage reduction

Not to revive this post again… but even the range damage reduction still means archers and mages are brutal… getting smashed by 2 archers and only the new armour helps… but getting that isn’t as easy as it should be and so on.

Whilst only first foray into PvP since new weps are introduced, have a feeling that damage reduction rather than damage over range may be a better fit 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

You just need stronger gear mate and get a valour bow, you will be fine then.

How does him dealing out more damage help him with getting 2 hit? Proc needs sorting now. 1 bangs should not be a thing at all

This!!

Let me just pop down the shop and get one of those valour bows and armour like they’re so easy to get hold of…

2hits and 1 bangs are over powered… need something different. Not saying remove mage completely but the damage is too high.

Are we basing this complaint on a capped character or a level 120?

Anyway, the bows have a lot of damage but the armour is accessible and with a price reduction imminent, it should prob be sorted soon enough.

Mage - range damage reduction was an overly emotional reaction from the community that the GMs gave into. I think that the base spell (spirit sword, light sword or explosion-x) should remain at full power and procs should be given a % damage reduction regardless of range. Saying that, one bangs don't happen on Hsoma so maybe Devils should be given more HP.

RvR at wotw is already balanced around a % system and Proc is already limited to range 5.

Also, damage reduction on a hsoma mage does nothing because of 5th stone.

Don't be a "one trick pony". Having better gear has shown that stats are meaningless, so gain 40 int instead of that extra 2 dex that you wanted.
I was tanking for my noob when 4634 attacked me...I was able to alt&tab to my noob, warp the noob, alt-tab back to Feeble and still had enough hp to survive

Don't be a "one trick pony". Having better gear has shown that stats are meaningless, so gain 40 int instead of that extra 2 dex that you wanted.
I was tanking for my noob when 4634 attacked me...I was able to alt&tab to my noob, warp the noob, alt-tab back to Feeble and still had enough hp to survive


Works on hsoma, doesn’t on dsoma…

"EDICIUS"limiting procs has always been needed. its op as it is. i remember the days when you had to 2v1 someone to secure a kill not jump in and out and hope for a multi multi multi proc hit to 1/2 bang.

2 240 int mages shouldnt be able to 1/2 hit each other with procs


Paps will remember a time i sussed the proc system out with tich i had full completed set x 2 12% and 42% rings arm.

i was hitting stupid like 1k a shot and paps died in an instant, but same day dan made my set worthless in a day. months of hard work down the loo,

Why is not what is good for 1 good for all?

It was fun for them to 1 hit me for years but the day i can 1 hit them back the hole system was changed.
It needs to be un done so all is even, if its a dog eat dog game then all should have the same tools

Wow didn't know this haha, all seems geared for end game/capped character PvP type stuff, so why not make it active from level 120+ onwards instead of all levels?

Or does this only apply to PvP? i.e. monsters/bosses don't receive less damage from range/

Just imagine complaining to GMs that someone made a full db proc set that 1 hits, that they changed it within a few days ….

Now imagine the same guys who complained all went to dsoma to make mages that one bang everyone but nothing been done for 6 months 🤷🏼‍♂️

They just don't like any form of real competition hence they get everything nerfed that shows how weak they are like nerfing db proc that was the same for years and kdr :/
