I'm with Hurricane.

We each play the game and we each have our own aims and goals for our characters and we spend (literally) a great many hours to try to achieve them.

Regardless of weapon choice, skill choice, attribute choice or even crafting choice - it is significantly harsh to arbitrarily change something to "impossible to achieve" where a player has spent their entire time in pursuit of achieving that precise goal.

...... It is the hope of reward that sweetens labour and the reward has just been removed.

Just seems to me, melee is getting more and more rubbish compared to int and keeps getting nerfed, int is by far the deadliest stat on the server and easiest to gain with everyone having pilots.

Before people aquired grear to have 100%, isylver specifically said that he doesn't want 100% to be possible.
Some people managed it anyway and now it's been taken away so nobody should spit their dummies out when 100% gets removed like it was intended.

Pilots are not contained to intelligence.
100% eva was never intended to be achieved.
Having 70-80 less in a stat will always by deadly whether that is str int or dex.

There was no more intensive labour involved doing dex as opposed to any other stat.

This is the first I have heard that 100% Evasion was never intended to be possible.

It was always known to have been made harder (lower upgrades etc.) to achieve.

Furthermore, there has been plenty of discussion already on achieving 100% evasion with some people discussing how close they were to achieving it on BLGs - that suggests the exact opposite.

It is not a case of "Spitting dummies out".

Anyone who has no intention of achieving 100% is not affected (most of the players perhaps?)

But, for some of us, it has been the soul of the game. Everything I have done has been in pursuit of evasion including trading for mats to make DPs to upgrade armour.

After nearly a year of pursuing every avenue to enhance evasion it is arbitrarily removed ?

Hardly reasonable is it ?

Melee is rubbish yet majority of people in PvP/Gvw etc use melee?

I dont even think that's a bad idea in fairness. However dex and inability to cast would need to be taken into account. ie dmg couldnt be doubled

I dont agree. Comparig acc gear to eva gear. Ppl woth high int and good eva do much more dmg than ppl with same dex and equal accu gear and its bcoz of dodge staff aura. Even if you take two chars with same dex and equal acc/eva % on armor. Person wih eva gear wins. What i ment is...that i do less dmg to high int char with evas wheni wear equal accu gear.

It is fair, how can you not take into account that magic can be interrupted?

At level 100 a dex character can and will shut out a mage regardless of their evasion gear because dex is the defacto best stat in the game.

Anyone who is underplaying the absolute power of dex is in denial, or is someone who has chosen the dex route and doesn't want to admit the real reason they chose to prioritise dex.

If dex was so bad, if magic was so good, why is pretty much every second generation character dex-heavy and int-less?

And why on earth are you complaining about 99% accu/eva when that means 1 in every 100 hits you'll actually be struck.

80% eva/accu cap especially in PvP is what it should be set to, that way at LEAST you'll get hit twice out of 10, is that really such a massive nerf?

That you can actually be hit two times in 10? Get a grip!
