If its reduced further, it will ruin people's characters. Not only that, people will just go more brute str /int rather then an even balance with str/dex

Fyi.. I did understand your context, but I cannot help that tongue in cheek humour is lost on 99% of people on this server! But its sound.. brainless is a cool name. Wish I named my char that from the beginning :((((

Even if that is true, I certainly didn’t know it and, moreover, 100% evasion has been discussed at length on here (including advisors) without any mention of it about to be made impossible.


Seems I also need to say this again;

It's not the fact that it is "1%" per se, it is the fact that something that WAS possible is now NOT possible. Something that some of us have been very specifically working towards.

I don't agree people would "level" using this method - the best mobs to level with are always superior to your own character. You'd end up with a pretty poor level 100 if you spent all your time killing Giant Spiders just because you had 100% evasion wouldn't you ?

So, what is so bad about 100% evasion ?

Let's say it's reduced further to 90% eva cap.

You will be hit once every 10 attacks.

Is that game breaking?

And in every one of those threads it's been said it's never been the GM's intention to make it possible.

You chose to ignore that.

Probably for the same reason cliffing bosses was nerfed/removed. Being able to hunt without using pots/effort regardless of the items required shouldn't happen, or at least that is my take on it.

I ain't bothered about getting 3hit by a Mage just stating mages r over powered. By a long run. Mage bosses drop dex upgrades and melee upgrades. Int has 100% hit rate. Nightmares drop frogs which are used for evasion, 2nd staff is now evasion, int hero boots are now evasion. What's difference between 100% Eva and hunting nms naked?
My dex is a lot higher than garps but it's still hard to hit him due to his insane gear, which comes from all those frogs and boss kills doing int... Weaken should be taken out of the game tbh. 600 damage on the dummy is over powered

Hurricane, you quite obviously have absolutely no idea how weaken works.

Before you embarrass yourself some more, try to keep away from your keyboard.

Oh wait, you can't do that anymore because you'll have to actually be there while hunting now.

For weaken you cast it, and it does x2 damage, not hard, for a retard like you it must be hard to understand

Weak should be changed tbh , so it does what it says on the tin and Halfs your targets MD not doubling your MA which is what it does now. I should beable to weak a high int char so his MD is halved not just my MA doubled which does Fuck all unless my int is also very high.

Alright I'll have to educate you, though I might be wasting my time given how dim you've been in your previous posts.

Damage is calculated after AT and DEF are subtracted from each other, same with MA and MD.

Weaken Damage is also calculated after MA and MD and only then it is multiplied by 2.

Your idiotic post clearly suggests that 600 damage on the dummy is "Overpowered".

The training dummy has 10 magic defence.

To do 600 damage on the training dummy you would require 310 magic attack.

Let's say we're using Dragon's Breath...
310 (MA) - 10 (MD) = 300
300 * 2 (Weaken's multiplier) = 600.

Now, you're shooting someone with 150 int who has no magic defence gear.

310 (MA) - 150 (MD) - 10 (Blue magic skill) = 150
150 * 2 (Weaken's multiplier) = 300.

Now let's put some magic defence gear on...

Nightmare set with ring of fighters (not even tagged Nightmare gear)

Averages out at 36 magic defence.

310 (MA) - 150 - 10 - 36 = 114
114 * 2 (Weaken's multiplier) = 228

For every point of magic defence, you reduce your damage intake by 2 damage.

Of course, someone as dense as you fails to realise that this means having 97 int when fighting people with 150int does not mean magic is overpowered, it means you're as daft as your low int is and you can't get your head around it.
