Crafting restock amounts

Author Content Date
Would it be an idea to increase some of the crafting restock amounts as a catchup mechanic for newer crafters? As a lowerish level I'm finding atm that I often get crowded out by guys with 1000 bagweight fighting over 6000 copper, and i'm sure there are others that feel the same.

last 3 days there've been 3 or 4 people buying all of the copper and orc instantly on restock. I'm not saying that increasing the amount of materials available is a perfect solution but something to rubber band would be nice.

Like I said I don't craft. Also, it is no challenge at all really. A bot such as you imagine(which I don't have) would actually be so quick buying up all the limited supply mats that making the materials unlimited is actually better for a player who is not using the imaginary bot you're visualising.

But what do I know, I don't think of or do these things.

duno what they do... but buying mats ..at preset times..and limited amounts.. helps. There does seem to be a renewed interest in copper and leather buying recently from a few players.
Just as well its not unlimited supplies.

But at this point people who are trying to get into crafting, especially at lower levels are fucked regardless. You have to buy and craft 126k metal and 40k leather to get from just 0-70 but if you can only buy a few bagweights full of the restock every time 1 you're going to spend dozens of hours just trying to get hold of some of the mats, let alone crafting them. I just think the whole thing could be handled differently now that the server is a few years old.

Ppl with big bagweights have levelled and put some serious hours in. Try level up a bit, gain some levels and gain some bagweight tbh...

Though , i do feel ur pain with some serious new interest in buying copper and leather by some ppl.
Always used to be that was some orc mets left and tiger leathers to be bought.
Limitles supplies of all mats would not help any1. gain some levs/ bweight/ and pick ur buying times when no1 else is around.

Soma aint supposed to be easy. You have to work for ur things. And hopefully other ppl do it the same way

I'm not saying I shouldn't have to work for these things. I'm level 70, have 440 hours in game and have grinded my con etc just the same as everyone else. My gripe is that right now the crafting system is heavily weighted in favour of those with massive bagweights and guilds that are prepared to dominate the restocks every time. It isn't good for the long term health of the game if newer players aren't able to even participate in a lot of the systems.

Saying that just because other players had to go through some sort of process to do something doesn't make the process itself flawless, especially since circumstances may be very different.
