If this % system continues to exist as is (whether in GVW or WotW) a change like this is necessary to make it fair and balanced for all classes, all builds and all levels.
If the change I propose goes through, nothing would need "altering" after axer's supposed nerf, so I don't know what you mean by that comment. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for giving us more reasons to fight for GVW (maybe 10% increased leveling rate for that guild that wins? It's just an idea), but I also feel a system needs to be in place to stop one guild dominating it for weeks and months at a time. I also think % should go back up faster than it goes down. (Currently it goes down 5% every consecutive win, and goes up 5% every consecutive loss. I would change this to go down 5% every consecutive win, and go up 10% every loss and not just consecutive losses). Anyway, gone a bit off topic again. Please keep it constructive:)

"JARAGOONDOO"goes up 5% every consecutive loss. It has been changed to go up 5% every loss (so each time GVW ends all other guilds that didn't win go up by 5% to the cap of 100%). |

Also, it half came up in one of the comments
After patch will all the +str gear just be +attack? Or will it add attack and defence/will there be an option to convert it to +def instead of prefered |

"DEIMOS"Also, it half came up in one of the comments What is changing for you to ask this? Is it to do with Devil defense stat changing back to con in the patch? If so, the +str will just be +attack and not attack and defense, I don't know of any plans to allow for a conversion.

You're unaware of the nerfs to axers in the change you're making?
Massive nerf to defense, still no dex, same attack. gg |

"S0RCERER"You're unaware of the nerfs to axers in the change you're making? That is because they were over powered to begin with. Its what put me off Dsoma all this time. Axers will still have highest attack. Medium defense as intended and lowest DEX as intended as how it was on Esoma right? I also agree a % nerf affects a knuckler way more than an axer or spear or even swordie and that is a problem.

"HAKZ""S0RCERER"You're unaware of the nerfs to axers in the change you're making? The cap raise keeps axe's high attack, but they won't be able to tank anything and won't be able to hit anything. They are only overpowered to idiots that believe all classes should have the same chance vs. eachother in which case you should jump back onto HSoma. Dsoma is made for rock>paper>scissors, Esoma's version was Archers beat everyone and everything. This cap raise will ruin so many more things than it intends to fix. (what does it intend to fix exactly?) All devils will cap out attack and defence with as much dex as possible. No devil will take any int or wis as they are not worth the investment seeing as humans (at cap raise) will be hitting so hard, if you invest enough points to take more hits from them, you'd be sacrificing far too many of your main stats. Anyone who believes for a minute that the new stat system will create more diverse character builds is pissing in the wind. Before the parade comes along saying this is negative feedback, it's not. It's the bleeding obvious. How this wasn't seen when the idea was first mused is beyond me. This change doesn't just ruin characters with THOUSANDS of hours invested in them, it ruins all of the items that they made which need I remind have taken YEARS.

"JARAGOONDOO" Well the massive difference in stats.. the fact that all class's will have different attack and defense. the damage %'s you posted would all be incorrect.. this "Brilliant" new stat system balances every thing out.. no-one should be doing min damage.. Should be no need for a % nerf... if the full race cant kill 10 chars that are equal to their selves, they need a pvp practice event once a week It doesn't matter what % a guild is on to who wins it.. even if you put the % on 30% stats... all it takes is for 1 person to die on the stone and another guild member walk on straight after.. GVW is about team work... if you dont work as a team you wont win.. no matter what!

"GHOSTLORD""S0RCERER"- I know this is going off topic from Jara's thread (it relates more to the thread by asdasd) but if that's your intention, you're so far off the mark. The information put forth regarding the patch will absolutely ruin Dsoma and no, this is not hyperbole. I quite clearly cannot comprehend how yourself, isylver and finito cannot see this. I know you believe it will allow character diversity, it will not (as I've previously explained). You said it will not nerf axers, it will (as I've previously explained). It'll make all of the upgraded items currently owned worthless (as I've previously explained). Please don't try to sugar coat this ridiculous idea. I know any criticism of ideas put forth by the soma team is taboo, but in this case I really think you can't see the wood for the trees.

"S0RCERER""HAKZ""S0RCERER"You're unaware of the nerfs to axers in the change you're making? The proposed system is the only way to bring balance back to the game, you are only so concerned because of how it affects gene, who regardless of what you say has become OP beyond the point of attainability of other classes (unless you want to defer to the example of a highly punched archer, in which case see above as they also need rectifying, as it was never intended, as this would never have been a viable option with the % rates/caps on esoma).... I agree on esoma archers were too powerful, but there have been several other changes on this server that have nerfed the affect of archers and favoured other classes. One of the main ones being new mobs after WBM allowing for far more str to be obtained, you always seem to gloss over this.... Sorry to go off topic Jar. I do also agree with Jaras points Re the percentage system, lowering the stats of devils may be a good option for RVR and even PVP. But I think it would need a lot of consideration for how it affects upgrades, how this interlinks with each class etc (unless you mean't it was for only during wotw?) sorry but I've read a lot since that post haha. But beyond that I like the propositions and good job Fin on already changing the percentages. More of an incentive to attend gvw would be good, like with wotw....but maybe add a couple of boss spawns inside of the guild house...Makes us sound like spoilt kids but the fact is it would be nice to have numbers at gvw and I think it requires a bit more incentive as already said. I do think some rivalry may come back when cap is raise which may spur it on however.
